It sounds of if he figures there will be a massive influx of Falcon fans who want to gloat after the fact. Enough to overload the server. I hope they appreciate that we let them post. Wonder if we would be welcome on their board.

I sure hope we win then. I would hate to have to put up with so many additional ignorant threads. It isn't as if we can't create enough of our own. Then again I usually avoid the huddle for at least or two after a loss. Not enough about the good, and too much of the bad and ugly.

I want a win in the worst way.

You know, last season started Falcons fans were actually pretty humble. After the Vick fiasco, I think many were grateful to have a talented young quarterback of character leading the offense.

Now they're just cocky. It could very well be that they are again the most obnoxious of NFC South fans after a brief respite.

hmmm, well imagine the Saints fans if they actually have a winning season

Board go down? Apparently you forgot about our loss against the Eagles last Sun. & the playoff loss against the Cardinals. Did our board crash after that? No, it didn't. Kinda funny some of you morons think our board crash after we lost to the Falcunts, when that is not true & Zod will tell you that. Until you know how to run a message board, keep lying to yourself. :smilielol5: :lol:

And at least our fanbase are not cocky & full of morons like your. :P

It's either:

Zod closed down the boards after we lost last year, and he managed to convince 100's of people on here to act as if the board crash, and not one single person made a peep on the "real thing". Not a single one. The Falcon fans are complete geniuses and manage to foil our conspiracy.

OR

We lost and the boards were completely overflown, Zod had to start from scratch and made the servers more secure, thus, the post had to reset and everything

Which one of these sounds, more realistic? If you have logic, you would say option 2, however, if you're a falcon fan, you would say option 1.

Falcon fans are the complete biggest idiots on the internet. No logic, no fact based opinions, no nothing. I wish the ice storm of 2000 would come back and freeze you dumb fuckers to death.

      I just rewatched all the highlights from after Bryce being benched. The Bryce hate needs to calm down a little bit. He showed a ton of potential the back half of the year. Same with Legette. They both made great plays when it mattered and a few mistakes when it counted. If we didn’t have a historically awful defense last year we could have ended even a bit better. Going into a brand new season we should be optimistic at least before game one. 2015 no one expected to go anywhere and the team steam rolled the league. I’m not saying that will happen, but hopefully we made strides to improve on the end of last year. Bryce put both Super Bowl teams in a battle last year and if we had a better D we could have taken them both. So at least look forward to the season and not past the season until it at least begins.

      I’m not mad at Moehrig.  He’s great at what he does.  And to be honest, a lot of my favorite safeties in our history were box-first type guys - Maxie, Minter, Mike Mitchell, Chris Harris…  they’re first and foremost objective was to put people on their backs and coverage was secondary.  There is a place for that.  There is a definite need for that.  Physical guys that set the tone.  So cool, we have that in Moerhig. But what we have lacked for the vast majority of our existence is a true free safety that cleans everything up on the back end.  Sometimes they come in the form of a JOAT, like Peppers.  I think he would be a fantastic compliment to Moehrig’s strengths and weaknesses.  If we don’t go after him, I certainly hope Ransom is given the chance to grow and develop in real-time with real game reps, because what he did in preseason was very encouraging to see.  I hope he can grow into that roaming center fielder with a little bit of an edge to him as an enforcer as well.  He has the tools.  In the meantime, adding Peppers would only help.

      Option 1 is most likely. Even if he kills it this year, it wouldn't be prudent to rush an extension for one good season. If you have to pay him more because you waited another year, then he earned it. And that's OK. Adjust accordingly.
