Not a whole lot coming out on Twitter this a.m.  - here's what I've seen so far:

A lot of the tweets are focused on the latest Make-A-Wish visitor to the Panthers:

What's up with Bene & the bubble wrap?

More to follow....

Jeremy is having some fun last week and this week stirring the Bersin pot...  but it does sound like Sunshine is geared up and making some plays....:

At this point, it's exciting to have any / all WRs balling out.... just means that much better competition and focus.

Looks like McClain is going to have to really stink it up at training camp to not make the squad.

Agree he's got an edge due to experience.  But do remember Bene is not out there in team drills as he is still recovering from injury.

Man. I love and hate that we have so many good WRs. I mean all of them have good stories and stuff to prove, and yet we can only keep 5-6. Nevertheless, it's amazing to think last year we had one of the weakest WR corps, according to the media, and this year we might have one of the deepest and strong corps in the league, with those who didn't make it starting for other teams.

That's a good problem to have.

Caught the tail end of Ron's post-practice comments via Periscope on Twitter.   Sounds like he's pleased with the development of the CBs.   One of the reporters asked a great question about the fact that we have WRs of all different types - small/fast, big / physical..., and Ron acknowledged that having such a big diverse group of WRs was helpful to the cahners' development.  (I believe it was here on the Huddle I first saw someone suggest exactly this about why we have 14 WRs going into camp this year.  Need a lot of WRs of different types for the rookie CBs to practice against...)

    • That's a very incorrect statement right off the bat, coaches get fired for winning ugly all the time.  Every coach of a playoff team that then gets fired, got fired because they won ugly and didn't improve their players enough to win in the postseason. Guys like Andy Reid have been fired for "winning ugly" like you said, because they kept winning in spite of the improvement of their players. Also, "this is a fanbase starved for wins" is a statement I also don't agree with, I'm not "starved for wins", I'm "starved for a winning and contending franchise" which are two VERY different things. If the team and fans just want to win some games, then that's a loser mentality, sorry, but it is.  We should want to contend, not win a handful of games.  Every time this comes up I point back to the Lions the last 5 years or so.  They were losing games but improving every week while doing so a few years back.  THAT is how you improve as a franchise and move the needle towards contending, not winning games ugly.
    • Good lord. I don’t think I have ever seen a hole that open.
    • this is true.  But NFL Ss and defenses are actively taking that away and playing to take them away vs most teams.  The problem thus far in BY's career......is they are cheating and not respecting the deep game which makes the smaller/mid range game harder to pull off.  and Dallas is an anomaly game.  using those random games that run counter to vast work......doesn't really change the discussion/issues in Carolina.  Bryce Young took the shots this week because they were not just NFL open but college open.    Wide open dudes downfield that really were coverage busts/issues.
