if the panthers can win a superbowl (preferably 2) before he retires, due to the nature of how voting for the position works (basically all name recognition) Kalil could get into the hall of fame.

He's only 31.  He'd play this year at 31, and in the Super Bowl, 2019, as a 33 year old.  No logical reason for a first team All-Pro and consummate professional not to still be able to play the center position at a high level at that age.

Great news.  That's one important spot on our roster nailed down.   Now we only have 3 pending free agents on our Oline at the end of this season.   I predict Oher may be extended this summer too....

 

I expect oher to be extended any time now.

Well this is good news. Keeping as many players from the original rebuild in 2011/2012 is the Panthers main hope at continuing to win. Without them this team falls to the bottom of the league in a heartbeat.

???  He's only extended for 2 years.  That gives him this season and 2 more.

Now, go and extend Oher, Short and Norwell please! Including Kalil, those are the four I hoped would be extended before the season. I'm afraid Coleman is gone after 2016, he would propable chase the money elsewhere...
