This isn't science. It's a fuging fact that kids don't go outside and fug poo up all day long anymore. They all play video games.  Every single last one of them.

See this everybody?

this is what an idiot who doesn't know what they're talking about sounds like.

csx tell me where posting declarative statements in plain text with no other context implies sarcasm

Maybe start with context and a little less seriousness.  Reading the posts that led to it should have made it evident.

nailed it! you also drank water out of the hose and didn't come home until sunset! like and share if YOU were from the generation that didn't need applephones to have a good time!

I will have you know I had a Transistor Radio when I was a teenager, and moved up to a Walkman when they came out. If you love you some music, you have to be able to transport it. Nowadays, I have more music on my phone than anything else. Hellz, I have more music on my phone than I had records back in the day.

But yeah, kids nowadays wouldn't see the light of day if they didn't have to go to the 7-11 for their danged Red Bull cuz their mom didn't buy enough.

And if it weren't for us danged Boomerz. These danged kids wouldn't have no danged interwebz to be perusing.

Millenials are whiney pussies because their parents, of which some are my friends, shelter and spoil the ever loving poo out of them. They don't go ride bikes and skateboards and burn poo in the woods  but play video games and don't leave the house and aren't expected to do do anything.

Old man rant over.

The biggest difference I've noticed (I'm 33 with a 14 year old daughter) is that when I was young and my school called my parents, it was instantly "what did you do wrong"? I've noticed now it's changed to "who did what to my child" when that same call comes in. My daughter's mom raises her like a typical millennial, I raise her like my dad raised me.

Her mom gives her everything she wants (even though she can't afford any of it, but that's a different discussion), and I give her what she needs. When she wants money for something I say ok what are you going to work on to earn that money, and she never wants to do anything and expects it to be given to her.

Sorry little girl you got me fuged up.

    • Rags lost again. All is right in the hockey world.
    • He’s responsible for two drafts classes. The first was one of the worst drafts I’ve ever seem. The second one is showing a ton of promise. I’m somewhere between skeptical and hopeful on Morgan.
    • I'm a big fan of Dan. His ability to find productive players deep in the draft will pay off.  I'm going to give him 1.5 draft classes right now, because I do think it's a little unfair to evaluate his first year when he got the job in January, especially when we went into that draft not having a first round pick.  XL and Brooks are still big time TBD players. Both still have incredibly high ceilings, but both have also given us legitimate reasons to have a lot of pause. Trevin Wallace, Chau Smith Wade and Jatavion Sanders have IMO outplayed their draft position early in their careers. That's a great thing. He also got Coker and Demani Richardson as UDFAs that year. Given the situation we were in, I really don't mind the gamble on the high ceiling guys. Still may work out, still may not, but if you made a checklist of ideal situation for an NFL GM to walk into, ours was near the bottom of that list.  Every single 2025 pick is contributing in some way. That typically doesn't happen. I am absolutely blown away by this draft class 6 games in. Even the best GM's miss on occasion, and we can't expect Dan to be 100% on drafts moving forward. Ryan Fitzgerald was an excellent find as well.  Comparing our last two drafts to the previous few is pretty shocking. Can you imagine this season without our Rookies? It would not be good. Additionally, this roster only has 6 players with more than 6 years of experience, and two of those are specialist.  The next step is equally important, and still very much TBD. We have to avoid Cap Chaos.
