Nice seeing our players go out of their way to surprise fans in the community. Kurt Coleman was the one who basically helped organize this. Basically they went out to this rural community, and talked/hung out with the residents. Read if you must:

To have the NFC champions’ entire defensive backfield arrive for a community barbecue – and then get to dance to Future and O.T. Genasis songs with the players? It had to seem like a dream.

...

But Coleman wanted to go beyond the standard pro athlete meet-and-greet-style appearance. This wasn’t an event where the Panthers showed up and sat in an autograph line or just posed for pictures as fans lined up. After a 65-mile trip from Charlotte – and a 20-minute drive from the nearest interstate -- Coleman asked his teammates to blend into the crowd and make personal connections.

“This is why we’re given this opportunity,” Coleman told USA TODAY Sports. “We want to win championships, yes. But to be able to make an impact greater than yourself, that’s what’s lasting. That’s what leaves an impression upon people. If I can just reach one young child to let them know they can become great and they can do great things, this trip will have made a difference.”
