Stop it. The Warriors were up 3-1. It was just a major choke job by the Dubs.

They were up till the NBA basically put every warrior on the bench. I'm not even a huge fan and could see that.  James could have DDTed the Warriors and would have gone to the line.

I don't want to believe that mainstream sporting events like NFL, NBA, etc. are fixed or "rigged."  But dang it if it doesn't just seem to add up sometimes.  I mean I don't have a dog in the fight in the NBA finals and was watching with unbiased perception. And felt the series would have been over in 5 the way the Dubs were playing the first 4 games.  But with all of the media being on Lebron's balls the past 2 weeks (more than normal)  it seemed as if the storyline was setting up for LBJ and the Cavs, Yes the team is actually called the Cleveland Cavilers and not Cleveland Lebrons, to win it all.  Media was setting it up as almost the same way they were setting up Peyton to ride off into the sunset with a SB win.  LBJ will be the greatest of all time if they win the Finals being the first team ever to win down 3-1, beating the team who just had the best record of all time, and the back to back MVP of the NBA.  Kinda makes sense in a way to see it almost playing out like a suspense thriller novel.  OH well.  Is it football season yet?

Note to self, don't watch ESPN for a month..  "Lebron, Lebron, Lebron, Lebron"  Last I checked Kyrie hit the winner, and there were at 4 other guys on that court. Lol.

or for the love of game and not money. Players are getting paid poo load of money and they suck!

Why play hard when everything is scriped. If I wanted to watch a drama I would watch the blind side or We are Marshall. In sports if one team is better I want to see them destroy the other team not the league to step in and "correct"  things

It was a long time ago but the 71 Dolphins lost the Super Bowl and the 72 Dolphins proceeded to go undefeated and win the Super Bowl. So..

Bills in the 90s made it to 4 straight Super Bowls in a row. Lebron went to 6 straight championships in a row with two totally different teams. Stranger things have happened.

Well its not terribly unplausable . The only real main difference is not having Norman back and getting Kelvin back. If the DBs can step up their game then I don't see why we can't be at minimum expected to get to the NFC Championship again.

We have the best NFL story line this year. Cam was mvp and got disgraced in the super bowl and press conference. So Cam can get redemption this year. Also no other nfl team has a legendary QB retiring next year. The only thing that could stop our story is Brady going for a 5th ring. So if the pats get knocked out in the playoffs we are the best remaining storyline. #profit

    • Good game so far.  Solid trench battles, two young well built defenses, and my 2 fave coaches.  Stafford is really damn good.  SEA OL is overperforming.
    • Okay then. To me that means Russell Wilson was Coryell. Because I see the proposition completely in the Russell Wilson punt/pass put it up for grabs mold. Count on the receiver to catch it or knock it down.    And the reason I thought that was the intent with Legette is the abysmal downfield game from 2023. As in, there was barely any.   I look at it as if… the result of a deep attempt isn’t as important as the opponent understanding they have to defend it. So I was all for some 50/50s. Coryell, Walsh whoever.  I do favor the Coryell approach personally but also very much value versatility, it doesn’t have to be strict. Just make the defense defend the whole field, however you do it. It has to include downfield throws.
    • Sold, or in the process of being sold. Could be either way. Consider this for a second... Last season, our defensive coordinator steered what many have called the worst defense in NFL history.  Canales would absolutely have been justified in firing him, and no one would have blamed him if he had.  But what did he do? He gave Evero another chance to come back and prove he could be better. Does that tell us something about Canales? I think it does. Now apply that to Bryce 😕
