FWIW, everything I’ve heard so far about Stephen Hill isn’t good. Just not the guy he was. Nice story, but sense is it’s not gonna happen.

Sounds like the injury might have been too much.

This goes completely against everything I have been hearing about him this offseason. Confused, I am.

It isn't that he's performing badly. He's looked good when he's played.

The skepticism is about whether his knee is gonna hold up.

He didn't do anything this off season until this week. He's been reported to have been limping and getting a decent amount of training staff attention.

Brief attention. In fact, a tweet is saying he's back on the field already. It sounds like it's precautionary after he fell on his knee.

I'm just saying that he's only been doing off season activities for a few days and has had some issues with that knee. I believe he was held out a day if I remember correctly and that was probably a day of attention to the knee. If Voth statement has any validity it means he's hearing rumblings about Hill's knee.

Bam! That's why I don't take Voth too seriously. The guy can be an asshole sometimes for no reason.

except he's about to write about Cam being sharp today...

There are like 5 reporters there all writing articles about practice, none of them are conflicting. But you can keep choosing which reports to believe if you want.

voth talking out of his ass per usual

He is negative. Which I'm sure he claims as being a "realist" lol.

Gantt and a lot of others carry a similar tone. Negativity, condescending remarks, back handed compliments, talking out of both sides of their mouth. Welcome to the media. Nature of the beast. Things like negativity and sensationalism sell and get clicks.

honestly who cares if Stephen hill gets cut. He's done nothing in his career and at best he is 4th option  here which means he will probably take Philly's job. No thanks, I'll keep Philly.

    • this is true.  But NFL Ss and defenses are actively taking that away and playing to take them away vs most teams.  The problem thus far in BY's career......is they are cheating and not respecting the deep game which makes the smaller/mid range game harder to pull off.  and Dallas is an anomaly game.  using those random games as well, look at this......doesn't really change the discussion/issues in Carolina.  Bryce Young took the shots this week because they were not just NFL open but college open.    Wide open dudes downfield that really were coverage busts/issues.
    • I will simply counter all that with: you should always strive, at every turn, to avoid indoctrinating young players into a culture of not playing to win the game.  Come man, that is an egghead academic approach that ignores the human element. it looks good on paper. Maybe.  In the voice of the great  Herm Edwards: Hello! You play to win the game.  I completely understand the need but that is not the way….
