Fan Fest videos

Fan fest was a blast.  I took a few videos that I wanted to share for those who could not attend.

My observations...

1.  This group of running backs is very very good.  CAP and Wegher both had very nice long runs.  Tolbert also looked good.  I wouldn't be shocked if Fozzy is out.

2.  The tight ends got lots of looks.  Olsen, Simonsom, Sandland and Dickson all made nice catches.

3.  Byrd had several targets and caught everything thrown at him.  He only helped his stock.

4.  Jeremy Cash had a nice interception tonight, picking off Anderson across the middle and running it back for what may have been 6.

5.  Shaq looked good all night, in both coverage and the run game.

i hope you enjoy the videos.  My family and I had a great time tonight.  The fireworks and laser show at the end was simply amazing.   And Cam did his part by getting the crowd involved all night.

The first video is of CAP breaking s huge run.  The second is of Boston picking off Cam.  The third is of Luke stuffing CAP for no gain at the line.

Nice vids, thanks for posting them

2nd one is Boston's INT, you can see #54 coming around Oher and getting picked up by Toldozer

I don't see us carrying less RBs than last year. Gotta have insurance for Stewie and do we really want Cam carrying it as much? The RB/FB group had 5 last year, and I don't see anyone we brought in taking any of the 2015 crew's jobs. Rockhead might have pushed Toldozer, but an UDFA ain't making the club from the tub

Good catch.  My mistake.

    • Rags lost again. All is right in the hockey world.
    • He’s responsible for two drafts classes. The first was one of the worst drafts I’ve ever seem. The second one is showing a ton of promise. I’m somewhere between skeptical and hopeful on Morgan.
    • I'm a big fan of Dan. His ability to find productive players deep in the draft will pay off.  I'm going to give him 1.5 draft classes right now, because I do think it's a little unfair to evaluate his first year when he got the job in January, especially when we went into that draft not having a first round pick.  XL and Brooks are still big time TBD players. Both still have incredibly high ceilings, but both have also given us legitimate reasons to have a lot of pause. Trevin Wallace, Chau Smith Wade and Jatavion Sanders have IMO outplayed their draft position early in their careers. That's a great thing. He also got Coker and Demani Richardson as UDFAs that year. Given the situation we were in, I really don't mind the gamble on the high ceiling guys. Still may work out, still may not, but if you made a checklist of ideal situation for an NFL GM to walk into, ours was near the bottom of that list.  Every single 2025 pick is contributing in some way. That typically doesn't happen. I am absolutely blown away by this draft class 6 games in. Even the best GM's miss on occasion, and we can't expect Dan to be 100% on drafts moving forward. Ryan Fitzgerald was an excellent find as well.  Comparing our last two drafts to the previous few is pretty shocking. Can you imagine this season without our Rookies? It would not be good. Additionally, this roster only has 6 players with more than 6 years of experience, and two of those are specialist.  The next step is equally important, and still very much TBD. We have to avoid Cap Chaos.
