Man what is the difference between racism and encouragement of intolerance?  Sounds bout the same to me.  But im sure you will pull out a dictionary.

Im not mad at you my dude.  Just urks me when a group of people get lumped into somthing they are not.  That goes for all types of people.  Also i cant control how people vote just like i cant control were they pee.

Btw you have a wonderful way with words.....

What is the difference? There are simple racists, and then there are individuals who use religion, and actual real world legislation to dehumanize other people because they are perceived as different or inferior based on sexual preference or skin color. That is more concerning to me than some "hillbilly" as you put it spouting off racial slurs. That is what I was referring to.

Biltmore House

lol I knew someone was going to say this but seriously... which sounds better to you?

"Yo we rented out this old mansion in the mountains of North Carolina for our wedding."

or

"I rented out a castle on the English countryside for our ceremony"

??

this thread's intentions were to discuss Russell Wilson being an opportunist and glory whore and immediately spiraled in to 8 pages of politics and religion. For that, I apologize sincerely.

But my point remains...Russell Wilson never intended to wed in NC. He simply took an opportunity to make himself look like he's taking a stand on social issues. I get the NBA, and music artist (not saying I agree) protesting NC ... But Russell Wilson????

If he's a devout Christian then wouldn't he be in favor of the bill?

Eh, depends on which political party he supports which I could care less on. I consider myself a Christian and I don't give a crap who's taking a whiz next to me. Still can't stand the guy. If they really did move their wedding out of NC b/c of HB2 then they would've told us while the dumb bill was a hot topic months ago.

    • After some of the calls last year probably won't see much of a drop off
    • https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/48344034/nfl-begin-hiring-replacement-officials-given-state-negotiations-nfl-referees-association   Honestly fug these refs and their union. Resisting changes that would actually incentivize good performance and not seniority based systems. What a bunch of donkeys. Hope the replacements straight up take their jobs and never give them back. Sick of watching refs script games with no repercussions.
    • Donovan seems like highest risk to me. Lloyd and May have already established relationships with all these kids. There’s probably guys hitting the portal that they recruited from HS. And then there’s the possibility of transferring their own guys from their current teams. They’ve also been recruiting the HS kids for like the next 5 years already. Look at the Iowa coach who hit the ground running by transferring all his guys from his D2 program. Or going across sports to Cignetti transferring all his JMU guys year one then building off that to a national title year 2. Donovan is starting from square one having been in the NBA so long and he’s already 60. So you’re potentially punting year 1 for a guy you are just hoping to be a 10 year hire while you figure out how to actually develop your next home grown 20yr guy. That’s 1/10th of the time you have him, more or less at best. The hope would be that he would find some high level assistants who have been working the college recruiting trails already, but then are you giving up his ideal staff just to get a foothold in recruiting and transfers. Think Belichick year one was bad? Imagine how much worse it would be without Steve Belichicks transfer portal pulls. Hoping Mays or Lloyd are all they’re cracked up to be.
