I hope we are kicking the tires on Kruger. I know he's a pass rushing OLB, but at 6-4 270, he's got the size of a 4-3 DE. 27 sacks the past 4 years, wouldn't be a bad backup. I'd rather have his size and pass rushing than Horton or any of the other backup DEs that haven't stepped up for us.

I read the opposite on Twitter. That he has underperformed at DT.

Browns also are releasing K'Wuan Williams who has been a decent nickle DB. PFF said he has put together impressive film.

I don't see them cutting a 3rd round pick only 3 games into his rookie year regardless of how bad he's looked.

Well Horton was suspended for 4 weeks last season, so that didn't help his playing time.  Also, we had Jared Allen who was very solid against the run.  Limited our need for Horton.

But I do hope we're looking closely at DE cuts to strengthen our depth.  We seem quite thin at DE with Cox injured and Delaire not playing up to expectations.
