CBS Philly: Headaches for Cam Newton

This is why I can't watch Panthers games in person anymore.

This bullshit gets me fired up in the moment. And when I'm fired up in the moment my wife my kid my job and my mortgage all become afterthoughts.

I feel like ok Cam gets hit, Broncos fan with his mouth open gets hit.

This is why my wife de-clawed me and made me a domesticated house kitty during games. But at least I get delicious egg scrambles and French press coffee on Sunday mornings now.

loll when I first read the thread title, I thought he was legitimately having headaches from all the hits he took.

scared me for a sec.

in all seriousness if cam's not having headaches, then he might really just be superman.  i think any normal human being would have been KOd well before they fell to the ground on that last one.

I am quickly losing interest in this sport, I pretty much only watch Panther games  and the Draft now. I'm also making less of an effort to DVR games when I have to work.

If nothing else there's the fact that I've learned over the years that investing emotion into any sport is a goddamned waste of time, but then you add the fact that the nfl has not made any effort or taken any measures to improve officiating, and I've got to watch this Denver defense play dirty as poo and then the next day the nfl decides to be profusely apologetic like "omg sorry about that but we're still bros, right?" and we're supposed to be okay with that.

Why is the Marshall hit getting all the attention, the last one by Darian Stewart was probably the worst, but Marshall launching himself head to head is terrible too

Marshall and Stewart should both get suspensions

Just sitting here waiting patiently for a small fine. What a shame. I wish they would get suspended but I doubt they do.
