I'm curious; what's the theme outside the Carolinas?

I was intrigued by @Apotheosis post in another thread were he stated that the fans and radio stations in the Boston area where he lives all supported Cam regarding the hits Thursday night. For you other guys living out of state, has there been any support for Cam there as well?

I'm in Texas and the lone panthers fan at my job... My boss is a "new" bronco's fan and we both had to open the store the next day and he started up with how they beat us as soon as he saw me. I mentioned I could handle the loss but was surprised by the lack of calls Cam did not receive and he was like what calls. I said the helmet to helmet hits and he said there weren't any so I proceeded to open this site and show him the .gifs. His next excuse was well that only happened because Cam is tall to which I replied Well doesn't it make it harder to hit in the head if hes taller?!!! He didn't like the points I was making and it didn't help that a co worker who was a bears fan was walking by and said he knew from the first quarter the bronco's were playing dirty and we're getting calls in their favor.

Yeah, my coworkers know better than to talk to me after a loss, and I don't listen to any sports on the radio here, as it's all about the Bucs. So, no clue what the overall sentiment is in Tampa. But, I'm pretty certain a lot of them are worried it'll happen to Jameis next. At least, the few friends I have brave enough to speak to me about it, are thinking that.

Out in San Diego, all my coworkers were genuinely concerned about how the hell Denver could get away with all the BS they were pulling.

And they dislike the Panthers based on my obnoxious amounts of fandom.

Even the one Broncos fan said she was ashamed and appalled at how the Broncos conducted themselves and was genuinely upset with her team and coach for allowing it.

    • Sounds encouraging.  I agree about the LB....I was CERTAIN second round would be a LB.  I would also like to add that, on paper, DL looked solid--but only 1 performed well in 2025 (2 if you count Robinson, who is now gone).  I am guessing they feel that the LB play will improve with the improvement up front--logical.  Remember the old rule (not sure who said it first) "You build from the inside out, front to back."   We drafted, in my early opinion, a starting NT and C this year.  inside out, front to back.
    • Agree--I think a mid-level tackle but he could prove to be an elite G--not sure how he would do at RT--or maybe Freeling---lotta moving parts--but I would look at him at G if mid-level T is his ceiling--he has been improving, but the injury..
    • Worked an event that many players were at including Ickey. Talked to him, looks and walks around good/normal. Taylor Moton released a new Tequila with his partner Matt Kahlil. Taylor looks great and is psyched for the season. He's such a good guy. Even Derrick Brown, very focused. It's like a quiet, calm I'm gonna rip through you confidence. Building his forever home and sticking around CLT. Bryce stopped in, but was upbuilding talking to the guys, not drinking, smoking cigars like others. There was little different aura with them, almost a quiet confidence, some fun. Reminded me of the 2013-2018 era. Had an event Tuesday with TD (he was there last night too) and he thinks the team looks real good, maybe just needs an another LB. He loves the Devin Lloyd pick up.  No negative comments, just giving a nice update on some players.
