According to the box score Benjamin was only targeted once today; Funchess only twice. We won't win many games this year with numbers like that. If these guys were having trouble getting open today you'd think adjustments would have been made like 1) use shorter route or 2) move them around on the field to get better matchups. Shoot, if I were behind the center today I would have just thrown one up and let them go get it. KB is is 6'5 and DF is 6'4. They should be able to win their fair share of jump balls against the average NFL corner.

The game plan was garbage.

You cannot let young receivers like KB and Funchess stay cold for more than 3 quarters and then hope they can show up at the end.

The coaches leaned on Fozzy, CAP, Brown, and Ginn. They fed them most of the game. We clearly see that leads to a loss and no offensive production.

Feed your weapons early in a game and then lean on them at the end.

The Panthers could have buried the Vikings, but the coaches took their foot off the gas once it was 10-0.

Not only that but you constantly take Benjamin out..I saw no one talking to him on the sideline in trying to reassure him or help him with his confidence..

Last year we saw all of that but even today the OL didnt even want to help Cam up off the field after the sacks..

This was a team of brothers and it didnt look that way today..

    • At the moment? Absolutely not. Maybe if they drop the next three in a row and go into the deadline at 3-6 I can see an argument to be made to move Rico as he's on a 1yr deal. I'd rather keep Chuba's contract though and roll with ETN + JB next season. The team will have plenty of time to see how JB is looking going into the offseason a year-plus after his surgery to know whether or not they need to plan for another direction.
    • I forgot to mention my thoughts on the rushing grade! 😮 He ran his ass off both weeks. I can't remember the stat offhand but didn't he have something crazy like 120+ yards after contact vs. Dallas? Against Miami he had lanes as wide as the entirety of I-95 to run through which is why his rushing grade wasn't as high as this week's. He's ran like a man possessed and going to earn himself some money in the offseason.
    • I'm not sure how much I'm changing mid year, especially when we are seeing some success.    Most Pass Rushers are physically gifted. Scheme and personnel help, but you gotta have the Jimmys and Joes, especially at that position.    We will likely lose games when the other team can throw for 400 yards, and has multiple high level receivers, but I think at this point in the development of our franchise, we have to be ok with that. You can't address every single issue at once. Really looks like we have plugged some holes on offense, and definitely in run defense. In the next draft, if we hit on a CB, an ILB and a Pass rusher, we will be pretty dangerous.
