With injuries hitting the OL especially the wrong one will Shula and co. staff  use more 2TE set to help the OTs out and have more of ball control running game? Patriots have used it successfully this season can the Panthers adjust like them, time for more of Scotty Simonson.

Problem is none of our TEs can block. And none of them can catch outside of Olsen.

I believe Scott Simpson can just need chance with 1st string offense. If they cant yet they need to get  game time experience to grow as players and become better at blocking & catching.

I'm always curious, when people ask for more two TE sets, as to how many more they want. We already stack the box on the offensive side more than any other team, I believe the average was 6.5 players per snap last season (not sure about this year). This is part of the reason our receivers aren't getting open, they're so outnumbered by DBs and LBs.

Olsen plays every snap, while Dickson and Simonson have combined for around 50% thus far, so we're running two TE sets roughly half the time. To be fair, that's actually down from last year when the second TE played 55% of the time. We even saw a few 3 TE looks vs. Denver.

We're running the sets, so what people are really clamoring for is the production we saw from the Olsen/Shockey duo. But we actually have been getting that level of production (995 yards, 9 TDs combined), it's just been from Olsen alone.

We don't have the production because we use 2 TE sets for different reasons with Shula vs Chud.

TEs were viewed as weapons with Chud

Shula views them as aid for weak OTs
