Not saying josh wouldn't perform at a high level.  But we have ZERO pass rush in the first half. Matt had all damn day to throw it was embarrassing.

I've seen this said a lot throughout the game...  But, there were several times we DID get a rush and forced him to climb the pocket and he threw up a lob into blown coverage for an easy completion.  It happened multiple times.

While the rush isn't great (and I'm still wondering how KK could disappear like this when he's trying to cash out), far too many people on this board tried to convince themselves and others that the front 7 created Norman, when in fact, they complemented each other perfectly, as I repeatedly pointed at out, when we let him walk.  I said he wouldn't find a better fit for his talents, and we wouldn't find a better fit for our system, but we would suffer much more than he would as a result.  And here we are...

please tell us how le'raven clark and shon coleman are doing at OT this year. is germain ifedi even playing OT? how is emmanuel ogbah doing right now? how about kendall fuller and xavien howard?

what were the right picks this year? should we have drafted hunter henry who singlehandedly ended the game for the chargers last week?

we traded up for worley, not bradberry. get over yourself with the i told you so's. it would be good to have josh right now but you're basically saying lets trade out one bad year this year instead of one bad year next year. we're making talent choices every year that will impact the next. josh gets the redskin's contract here, we lose talent next year and we're wishing we could keep them all again.

congrats on hanging your hat on this blowout game. we've been in a position to be 3-0 coming into today. we didn't execute on the field. cam is playing slow and the league has basically made it clear that hitting him in the head will be allowed. now the headshots will be coming all year and our players are reined in be the 2 penalty ejection rule.

I will amend that then, but my point still remains.  We traded up for one of them, totaling 4 picks allocated towards corners.

Andy the messiah Lee pinned those guys on the 1 yard line 3 fuging times. 3.

We we then proceeded to watch Matt Ryan stand in his own end zone for more than 5 seconds and throw bombs to Julio. I'm sorry I don't even think Josh could've stopped that.

In his own end zone for more than 5 seconds. If you wanna bitch about anything, bitch about DG rolling with shitty defensive ends.

Norman wouldn't fix all this, but I agree with a lot of what you said.  Still think main problem is we can't get pass rush

We had three sacks today, plus plenty of pressure. That's just a fact. That's not our biggest problem. It's just not.

Also, as to the rest of your points...  The game was out of hand long before Cam took that shot.  Although it pisses me off, and I'm concerned for our QB's health, that had nothing to do with us getting our ass blown out.

All the prospects you asked me about, ask yourself if they are better than what we currently have.  Regardless of how they're performing where they are...  are they better than what we have?  And would they have a chance to play more than any of the guys we drafted have or will?  Bradberry is the only guy as of right now that CAN play and WILL play, a lot.  Butler is injured, but is working into a rotation behind 2 really good players when healthy.

Furthermore, ask yourself how the run game is looking.  We were rumored to be interested in Derrick Henry.  Wouldn't you like to have him right about now?  Would he not contribute more immediately than Butler, even when healthy?

Point is, we had needs, and we could've went a million different ways with those picks, especially the first.  And basically, in Gettleman's struggle to free himself of being held hostage by Norman, he involuntarily cuffed himself into another hostage situation with KK, which virtually caused all of this (Rescinding Norman's offer, drafting Butler and 3 CBs, etc.).

Jno got burned by Julio last year.

LOL...  thanks for that contribution.  He had one average game against Josh during Josh's entire tenure here.  Try again...

And he damn sure never had a 300 yard day against anyone here before today, lol.

Gettleman needs to do his fuging job, which is sign the best players here and draft the best players

Thats it thats all. Congrats you went to the SB

AND LOST

Now go back and win it which is even harder and you start by signing the best players. John Elway makes David Gettleman looks like an amateur GM

LOL  TRG, you already know if it was anything questionable, debatable, or controversial in any way, I have probably bitched about it.  I'm sure you recall me being pissed about the Ealy pick.  Well, how's that working out?

And I'm with you on that...  I said in the GDT that Ryan stood in his endzone for an hour and a half.  But, yes, I do believe Josh could stop that pass.  Ryan puts so much air under his passes that if we had anyone worth their salt back there on Julio, they would've made a play on those deep throws.  But, we don't.  I think back to how many times over the last few years that QBs had a lot of time and eventually got sacked because they had no one to throw to.  I don't recall that happening once this year.

The pass rush is a problem, but the corners shouldn't have been a problem.  Gettleman made them the biggest one.
