Kris Jenkins...

he's gone. move on.

i only care about what we are doing from here on. whether it is a bad or a good move doesn't matter. the guys on the team really didn't like him much. just like key. the position was stronger with him...when he was sober and not hurt but the team was better off without him.

water under the bridge, though.

It's hard to bitch about him leaving just because I think it was a good decision for him to go. He wasn't motivated to play here anymore and had issues staying in shape. The Jets clearly got out better in the deal but I seriously doubt that we could have gotten a lot more out of Kris, he just didn't fit well anymore for whatever reason.

he didn't want to be here so he was no good anymore but we never replaced what he gave on the field, in two offseasons.

Like the original poster said he hated Fox. He wanted out because he saw what was becoming of this defense. He knew it was a sinking ship with a coach that refuses to adapt. If it would have been me I would have done the same thing myself. We got rid of the wrong guy IMHO.

    • The Bucs waived shilo sanders after he got ejected.
    • I'm just tired of ppl saying he's so accurate and then have to see recievers slow down to recieve the ball, ruining any chance at YAC
    • Some people will really look at stuff like this and say "no more excuses" but then make excuses to try and explain away the validity of big-time throws. 🙃   Back on topic though, as I mentioned in the other AT thread earlier, I hope that the team is still exploring the deal. If the Vikings want the Panthers to take on some of the salary, then it had better be at worst a 4th-round pick (though I imagine Dan angling for a 3rd). If they're willing to take on all of it, then maybe at worst a 5th. Tough pill to swallow, giving up a 4th for a 35yr old WR, but if MIN believes they can have similar success behind McCarthy then it could be a smart deal for them. Hell, if AT has any gas in the tank and gives them a 1yr sweetheart deal to close out at home, even better for Minnesota. Yea, Bryce loses his best and most reliable WR. Hunter Renfrow though isn't what I would call a huge step down though (if he's as advertised throughout camp), and it gives more reps to TMac + XL + Coker. This season is all about continued development and answering some of the looming questions (Is Bryce the guy? Is Evero the DC going fwd? How do the young WRs develop? How long does it take this defense to bounce back from being historically awful?).
