The players understood Ron didn't give a poo when they (especially TD and Olsen) were passionate in defense of Cam's health and their Head Coach was "it is what it is".

This! This when you start losing guys. When players are more passionate about the franchise quarterback being hit as much and how long it's been going on than the HC, there's a problem. Ron does not have control.

Does seem  that Thor and TD are the  only two playing with fire/emotion consistently.

I was holding out hope that not yet. But you're right. The Monday after the Atlanta game he said he hadn't spoken to Cam but saw him should've told me everything. The team feeds off of the coach.

HOnestly I agree here...they sucked but hell at least you KNEW they cared...Ron comes off as very unintelligent and clueless so I can't tell if it's all that plus not caring or if his lack of intellect just makes him look that way

He lost me at him not seeing anything wrong the 3 run play call. Honestly, I was lost at "you make your own luck." What does the great media of Charlotte want Rivera to do to Cam who is 27 with three children riding on a segway without a helmet? That's like his dad telling him he has a 12:00 curfew. That's the only answer that was made sense.
