Who would you promote to OC?

The point is you don't change OCs when your offense is still producing. We are 3rd in total yards, 10 th in passing yards and  3rd in rushing yards. We are even in the top half in points scored even with all the turnovers and lost point opportunities. And that is without Stewart, with a banged up line and Cam less than 100%. I know the easy thing is to blame Shula and think everyone can replace him but when people stop making boneheaded decisions based on a few bad plays and they look at the facts, it is clear that  the offense is the only thing that is working. Do me a favor, compare our ranking on offense with our rankings on defense and special teams and then let's have a discussion not on opinion but the facts. Unless this website is so lost that reason and fact have been totally replaced with inuendo, opinion and rampant hysteria. At which point I may need to go elsewhere so I can talk football with fans who have educated factual informed opinions.

So that is what we are about now?  When you have no rationale for your position and nothing to back it up, you resort to old Foxisms and name calling.  Typical huddle response when you have nothing of value to contribute to the discussion.

Why does no one ever want to replace the Defensive Coordinator? Seems to me that is the side of the ball failing us at this point.

That is the elephant in the room.  The offense has arguably poorer starting field position, has had a number of drives stopped by poor execution, turnovers, and mistakes and yet they are still effective.  But because people are always on Shula's case looking for a problem where there really isnt one, he is the problem when it is abundantly clear that the defense is struggling much more than the offense at this point.  If the defense and special teams had been even marginally decent so far we would have been 3-2 at worse right now instead of 1-4.

Because he's working with an entirely new backfield including losing a pro bowl cornerback and a great vet leader on the line?

Shula GAINED kelvin benjamin and still can't get it to work.

Even based off what shula has done before and after getting the job, having someone like him as a OC for a special player like cam his entire career is a failure and a disappointment.  Because you could have done so much better.

Yeah even if you think our coaches are mostly fine this justifies the hot seat. Six years of a game changing QB and the best they've managed is a super bowl appearance in a year when he went above and beyond.

P55's problem has always been looking at stats without context.

Shula's situational play calling has always been horrible. Calling the worst plays at the most important times won't show up on the stat sheets. You don't have to look very far back to get a few really good examples of such....

How many straight running plays did we not stop in the first drive from Tampa? It's more than just the secondary. I see more injuries on offense than defense right now. Never heard fans calling for McD's head here. Rivera could probably handle that better than an inexperienced OC.
