Nope. The coaching does, but I'll let you back to your irrational Gettleman Hate

Eh, I think Gettle deserves the heat for the current situation.  His failure to give us any veteran leadership in the secondary for the kids to learn from, neglecting to pick up a pass rusher, and to get proper depth at OT has really hurt us, and particularly the Secondary and pass rush combo is a combination that you can't coach around.  All of that said, EVERYONE miscalculates at some point and Gettleman has made enough right decisions to give him some time.  I mean, think about what 2014 would have looked like if KB got injured?  Our wide receiver situation would have looked eerily similar to our DB situation this year.  G-man gets a pass this year, but it's time for him to nut up and actually get some pieces this offseason.

This next offseason is important for Gettleman. If he bombs again, he will be on the hot seat.

But yes the coaches will be on it after the season. Shula should be gone though when the season is done at least.

Well, now he doesn't know what he has anymore. Guys he had faith in like Short are playing like utter poo. I do wonder if there's a rift in the locker room. I didn't believe at first but the attitude our starters are showing...

Coaches and DG failed this season. DG did the bare minimal this offseason and had a poor draft. RR looks like 2014 Ron. And Shula is proving that a Zebra can't change his stripes. I don't know about a rift, but there is something also going on in the locker room. I think they are still down about the Super Bowl loss and the first game loss. They need to get over it.

Again, this is the team that went 15-1. Outside Norman, there wasn't a major departure. This falls on coaching. Look at the games, our boys are blowing assignments and being undisciplined on both sides of the ball. It doesn't help that our coaches are sucking at playcalling and time management too. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That said, this season is filled with poo performances.

This is on the coaching. No excuses.

I think Allen, Tillman & Harper deserve a little more credit, especially when you consider the locker room and just overall veteran savvy in the playoffs.

Guys retired though so that's not really on Gettleman.  I agree about coaching.

How do you know it was a poor draft? It's only the 6th game of the season for christ's sake. Bradberry is ahead of Norman in terms of growth. He's gonna be a stud for us. And Butler has been outshining Short in pass rushing thus far. Both are already making an impact.

Like I said, this is purely on the coaching. If Ron, Shula and McDermott were competent then we wouldn't have Benji or Ealy costing us points and field position and killing momentum.

Butler is still unknown, but he was a luxury pick when we have other major holes on the team even if he pans out. DT wasn't a weakness. It should'nt have been the pick.  Bradberry can turn into something, but Worley looks terrible most of the time while on the field. Also, only 3 picks going into the season. That is terrible.

Btw, im not going into a deflective argument about the play of the picks. DG also failed at replacing Norman. He also failed at helping us at DE and Safety. On offense, he failed to provide depth at OT and TE, WRs that can get open and Tolbert is on the team for unknown reasons.  If you put no blame on Gettleman, you are really not seeing the whole picture. You are supposed to IMPROVE in the offseason. Not stand pat and do hardly anything. When you don't improve in the NFL, you are declining.

Hopefully young is the secound coming of Josh norman . This is the worst weak to be down at cb . Brees picked us apart last year and we had a great secoundary . Were going to have to win on offense sunday

Hopefully the pass rush shows up this week and doesn't let Brees have time to pick us apart

You taking up for somebody who didn't make the team better and talk about being irrational. The defense sucks and that's on Gettleman not Ron, accept that.

Please explain how it is Gmans fault the Defense sux?

Gman doesn't tackle, he has no control over gap integrity, he can't split a double team, and he sure can't make Tre a better player. He has no control over injuries, and he sure can't play DE.

Gman may not be perfect. And I seriously think there is not one person who ever thought he was. But this Defense is all on the coaching staff, and the players.
