Beason tells Newton to stop being childish

Pickles couldnt hit the broad side of a barn. David Carr was trash, before he got supplexed on his neck. Berlein, love him, he was old as dirt. Weinke had a cannon and understanding, but it didn't translate. Kerry was a drunk that called someone a Ni**er and was promptly dismissed. Randy fasani, trash. Stefon Lefors, trash. Vinny Testaverde a day older than water, nothing left. Jake Delhomme loved him, fell apart, nothing without a high flying, jump ball tracking Smitty, single handedly shut down our second Super Bowl appearance, then promptly gets a 42 million dollar contract extension! NONE of these guys have an ounce of Cams talent, NOR his accomplishments as a Carolina Panther. NONE of them had a fuging hello kitty editorial run on them in thier franchises home city. This goes far beyond "pouting", dancing or towels over the head.

Exactly. I'm way too immature for my age to really say anything. I'd get pissed off too getting asked a variation of the same question.

Just say 'asked and answered.' 'need to see the film'  'yo mama'

Jake Delhomme has brought the franchise to the exact same place Cam Newton has. The difference is that Jake actually almost won the big one while Cam choked.

lol yeah, Von Miller and the Denver defense had nothing to do with that. gtfo

Not really.  Newton almost executed a perfect regular season.  They dominated.  2003 squad wasn't dominate.

Cam didn't choke.  He needed one of Delhomme's roided up lineman at RT and we would have rolled.

Any time someone says something negative about a black player there's dummies on here screaming racism. These people obviously weren't here when Jake, David Carr, and Jimmy Clausen were the QB because they caught it much worse than Cam ever has.

Umm, i was around during that horrid time frame and it wasn't even close. People hated Carr and Jimmy because they were absolutely devoid of football talent. We're literally bashing Cam because of how he handles the media.

Gargantuan difference there pal

but cam newton single handedly carries the entire team on his back

He does at times, that's a fact. You know as well as I know that Cam is the franchise. You also know as well as I that it makes you and "others" uncomfortable to see this big black in-your-face quarterback not do you THINK he should do. So that negates anything he's done for this franchise, right?

    • PJ's completion % was 63% when starting games in Carolina.  Which I believe is better than Bryce when starting.  And again, 4-3 as the starter here and the LONE QB Carolina has been able to actually win with in the Tepper era.  If you ask a gambling gunslinger to come into blowouts.....they are going to go down in a blaze of glory.  Which he would do.  Yeah, he isn't good.  And gunslingers are supposed to have rockier stats than checkdown QBs.   So....why does PJ Walker have a better comp % as a starter than Bryce Young.  And for every knock you want to make about PJ, you can find something or a skillset that PJ does better than Bryce.   I didn't say PJ had good field vision.  He doesn't.  Tell me about Bryce after he comes off the first read lol.  Let me repeat, PJ Walker is not a good QB.  He is NFL depth and an in house arm.  Bryce Young doesn't belong in a convo w/ Jake and Cam.  He belongs closer in a convo with the backup caliber QBs Carolina was forced into playing.  Which isn't just PJ Walker.  But Kyle Allen.  Moore.  Guys like that.
    • Oh I see what you meant by memory. I will trust my memory, I have looked a a lot of those ball charts for Bryce and they trend a general pattern. They thing that has changed that I have noticed more recently is the reduction in the bunching of behind or at  the LOS passes over to his right.  Aside from the quantity of throws recently since the running game has become a more dominant factor.
    • Yes but you basically said you are going from a quick skim of those charts without doing the same for Bryce and/or Andy. So you are going memory vs. snapshots. That's not going to be a very comprehensive analysis.
