As much as I hate to say it, the Falcons are ballin'. They really got robbed in one of their losses also. So, yeah, they could. But, even if they don't  we also have to jump the Saints and Bucs. So many things have to go our way to have a shot. We aren't in a position to take anything for granted. We should be focused on chopping one tree down at a time.

That also only gets us to the conference record tiebreaker and they've already lost 2 AFC games. To win a tiebreaker against ATL we either need them to lose all of their remaining division games or we likely need them to lose one of TB or NO, lose to use and for us to run the table in our remaining NFC games including at Seattle. That assumes they finish at 10-6 or 9-7. More leeway if they are 8-8.

EDIT: Strike all that underlined poo.

Apparently the 3rd division champion tiebreaker after head-to-head and division record is record in common games and not conference record which is the 4th tiebreaker which means every game but our games against MIN and WAS and their games against GB and PHI. Their win against GB and our loss against MIN gives us an advantage in that one right now. They lose to TB on Thursday and we are looking pretty good.

I feel much better about our playoff chances now that I know that. I swear that's new but I could be wrong.

I can see us finishing strong and beating LA and we have to win all 3 of our division games. But there is no way if we lose to Atlanta. Even if they stumble and we go on a streak they may hold the lead of the South when we have to play them again. We cant lose to Atlanta and win throughout. Saying that I think we finish 9-7, 8-8. If we lose 2 more games Id rather us just go for picks and get a good LT, RT or LE, RE.
