Tolbert, why is he still on the team.  Guy wasnt great at blocking in his prime just a solid runner and pass catcher.  dude cant get past the line of scrimmage anymore, and his blocking is awful.  Not sure if there is a FB Or RB in the league thats a worse blocker than him.

Really the line actually has done a good job blocking until they blitz.  Blitzes your RB/FB and TEs big have BIG role in picking up and blocking blitzes which Tolbert might as well just lay dowm and hope the guy trips over him because hes not doing anything

Williams got beat like a drum today. Mental and physically. He is a good backup but we need someone good to put with Oher. Not some overachiever backup .

Not only that but if  Cam throws the ball 15 yards...he is getting 15 yards...if Cam throws the ball 8 yards..he is getting 8 yards...if Cam throws the ball 1 yard...he is getting 1 yards.

There is ZERO YAC in this offense. And instead of addressing the talent of pure talent..the Panthers simply ignore it while drafting yet another DL.

The Panthers should be in a position to go after Dalvin Cook. The Panthers offense needs Dalvin Cook. Instead, we will probably end up with some safety.

He did today but the last 2 games looked good.  I wouldnt bust him off of a few starts.  again theyve done a decent job until the blitz inlcuding Williams its just blitzes OL even the best of them look bad if the FB/TE dont do a good job in help picking them up.  tolbert is nothing more than a tackling dummy they have to dodge to get to the QB

Oher is done playing football. Why would he come back to this trash team?

      All these rankings have more to do with the writers love or hate for a team.  Morgan, IMO, has done a really good job at building this team.  Yeah, there are a couple of whiffs but for the most part he has done quite well drafting and signing free agents.  22 is a bit low but it's a stupid opinion based on how little a writer knows about the Panthers.

      When I saw that I was thinking the same thing.  If Evero does have a great season and gets hired as a head coach I wouldn't mind see McD as our DC.  If we do poorly as a team, I definitely would want him to be the front runner for HC.

      But it's not about not upsetting a player under contract, it's about not causing a rift in the locker room. The players love Bryce, whether as a person or a player doesn't matter.  You can't spend a Top 10 pick on a QB and then still start your #1 overall pick in the last year of their contract. That act alone will cause a massive locker room rift/distraction that would be unavoidable.  Some players will question why you "wasted" a Top 10 pick on a QB you're not going to start instead of someone who can help right away.  While others will question why we are keeping Bryce around for the season when it's clear he's not the future guy at that point. It would just make for a bad start to the rookie's career while causing locker room distractions.  Again, I'd bet this has never happened in this league before with any 1st round QB, let alone the #1 overall pick, and there is a reason for it, which is that it would be epically stupid to do. And I used the Vikings as the example as they're the closest I can think of, because again, there isn't a direct comparison as nobody has ever done it because it's that dumb of an idea (no offense lol).
