Corey Davis at 8

Increasingly, it seems likely Fournette and Adams will be taken before our pick. Honestly not enamoured by any of the guys being mocked to us. 

To cut to the chase, we flat out need receivers who can seperate and be a consistent target for Cam. Davis could be that guy.

Yeah, I was about to say. He has lots of highlight catches but a lot of them are because he doesn't consistently create separation. 

I like Davis because of how effortlessly he can sink his hips and change speeds. We don't have anyone on the roster who can do that.

IMO, OJ Howard (TE) would offer more impact than Mike Williams or Corey Davis for this team. I think we need speed and slot receivers that will complement Kelvin Benjamin and Devin Funchess, we can find these guys in the 2nd or later rounds.

You keep saying that, but not all scouts agree. In fact, many expected Davis  to rise above Williams , but the minor ankle surgery will likely slow the buzz.

Everything I've read says this guy has legitimate WR1 potential. His ceiling is super high. The major ding with him is the competition that he faced, but even going up against big schools, he rolled right along. 

And when I say "everything," I mean everything.

I was going to post a thread about Davis before, for our second pick if we wanted to trade up. I really like this kid but now with the ankle injury he'll probably fall a little but. Will miss the combine and possibly some of the offseason workout stuff so I could see him falling to early second where we could trade up. No chance at 8 in my honest opinion.

Some of you just don't understand how good this guy is. You'll eventually see though. He's not falling into the second.
