I'm not surprised. I've been saying that he reminds me a lot of former Bama OT Greg Robinson. Robinson has bounced in between OT and OG so far for the Rams.

maybe this will be the year that overdrafting the OT position will settle down.

The last 5 years has been horrible.  So many high draft picks on guys who are now playing G

Cam Robinson at G?

Hooker ahead of Adams, heard this in many places already however

Yea, I don't like him at all at T....unfortunately.

As I have stated a few times.....we picked a really bad time to need a really good tackle.

Wow. Looked at this list and disagree with a lot, especially on the offensive side. Kupp still a top 5 WR for him? According to everyone he struggled mightily during Senior Bowl week when facing off against top major conference prospects. Cook > Fournette? Sigh... Kizer as his #1 QB? Completion percentage almost never goes up for a QB jumping from college to pro, it usually goes down fairly significantly. Kizer's completion percentage last season? 58%. Njoku as the #2 TE? On potential alone, I can see it, but I think you're setting yourself up for disappointment if you take him high.

usually agree with Mayock's position rankings but this initial one... whoa.  threw me off reading this one.  it will be adjusted all the way up until draft. be some big movers up and down after combine.

Just a reminder that the Combine is not as important as some may believe that it is. The "Underwear Olympics" does have its place but 90 percent of a player's evaluation is based upon tape according to Charlie Casserly.

The "big" risers are generally those smaller school prospects that have a great performance, and then everyone goes back and actually gives their tape due diligence.

Yup.

Use the combine to confirm what you think you saw.....then check it again after.

The thing is that he needs to update it as draft season progresses.  So he has to put out an "off" list to start.  That way, he can periodically move guys up to where they belong the closer we get to the draft.  I'm sure he already has a pretty good idea what his final rankings will be (with a few minor exceptions based on workouts and such), but we won't see it until mid-late April.

Just like these mock drafts.  If they start out slotting guys where they truly think they will end up, then they take away any reason for people to pay attention to them.  Heck, the Path to the Draft guys like Charley Casserly and Charles Davis change their mocks weekly just to keep it interesting and viewers watching.  It's why I don't get why so many people get upset or lock into where a guy is slotted in early mocks.  We really don't get an honest idea of how they view prospects until shortly before the draft.
