.. What are the chances we go after him?  He can block and catch, and it would instantly upgrade our offense.  If we drafted Fournette as well, our offense would be very physical and formidable.  I like it, and we would probably have money yet to sign some defense.

The Bennett brothers are mental midgets.  This guy in particular is only looking to get paid after winning a ring.  No thanks.  Too many other places to spend money wisely, at a bigger need, and with less risks.

he was clearly the most talented receiving option on the field for the Patriots and didn't really do that much in the Superbowl. Now Atlanta may have game-planned around him but no thanks- he's going to be asking for a truckload of money that we need to spend elsewhere (see DE, LT)

 

I'd rather draft a TE with potential and have Greg coach him up than a guy who is coasting off a Superbowl win and a fat contract.

The guy blocks like a beast, he's basically like having an extra lineman.  With him and Fournette our offense would be really good, then we could spend a mid round pick on OT and dump the rest into defense.  

 

Personally, I really hope we get either Bennett or DeSean Jackson, our offense needs another weapon

He's a free agent so the Patriots don't have to do anything for us to go after him. He will probably want around 8-10 million to be a back up.

Oh I see. I think he's more of a Sherman type than Smitty tho. I give Bennett some credit tho. He uses his platform for good and he speaks out. But he's a beast tho. If we signed him he would arguably be the best route runner we have besides Greg.

He looked like dog poo in the super bowl. That performance alone was enough for the Pats to let him walk. He just won a ring and knows this is his last shot at a decent contract. Pass. I'd rather have a younger guy that can play along side Olsen and then replace him.
