I actually agree that we should strongly consider trading up to secure Fournette, Adams, or even Solomon Thomas depending on how the board falls. My fear is a scenario where all three are gone before we pick, which is looking more and more likely every day.

Well if there's no QBs taken in the top 7 all of those players are going to just roll off one after the other probably .

If there's QBs taken before us AND a Cornerback or two (Lattimore, Humphrey at the moment) then that should puss a bunch of players down. I could see the Jets taking Lattimore easily with their CB situation right now, and Jags could easily take Adams off the board for Fournette to be at 8.

...so was Trent Richardson...high draft RB's usually dont pan out...and if we trade up it would be a reach...

So, literally one RB that didn't work out equates to higher RB's that get drafted not panning out?  LOLZ, did you forget Elliot last year?  How about Adrian Peterson?  Did those two work out?  Jesus, the Huddle is absolutely hilarious sometimes.

...its too much of a crap shoot...look at the list of RB's that were taken number 1...there are exceptions... the dude already has a chronic ankle problems..will it be surgically repaired? if not problems will continue. Maybe Stew can pass on his bicycle... Jesus, you ignore all obvious problems with this guy.

So, question.  When we Draft Fournette (if he falls to us), will you admit you're wrong?  Or just keep saying random things?

...absolutely admit if im wrong...we need an impact player at number one... a rookie RB behind this line will not impact sht....buying a new vet and driving down a gravel road...ankle problems are a big concern...

Agree to disagree, good sir.  There are no tackles in this Draft worth Drafting at 8.  So, they'll have to keep kicking the can on that LT problem and going to Free Agency for that.

The list of those that didn't pan out is about as long as the ones that did.  If you look at the list of top running backs in the NFL this past season, only 1 or 2 of them were first round picks.  And if you look at the last 5 running backs who were picked in the top 10 in the NFL Draft, 3 out of the 5 would have to be considered bust, or at least not worth the pick spent on them.  For every Elliot or Gurley, there is a Richardson, Mcfadden, or Spiller.

Of course, any draft pick is a risk.  But personally, I would prefer we take a risk on a good DE or Safety, and perhaps pick up a running back in the second round.  Maybe we will find us a Le'veon bell.  But if we pick the LSU rb, I will become one of his biggest fans as long as he wears the Panther uniform.
