He did a horrible thing and there is no forgetting that.. He has shown remorse and paid for his crime. If Greg had done the same it might be a different story for him..

Is stuff done in youth suppose to effect the rest of your life?? Is that fair?? Alot of us would be fuged if true..

Let's be real if the kid wasn't greatly talented nobody would give a fug.. But he is so why not take advantage of the value of getting a 1st round talent in the 4th??

Yeah, he should be. I hope the guy has truly learned from that situation, has become a better man from it, and goes on to do great things in the community.

Someone will give him a chance, but it sure as hell won't be us and I don't have a problem with that.

So are we now and forever forbidden in taking anybody with a troubled past??

That seems like cutting down the talent pool we can have.. Which only hurts us.

He's a first round talent easily.  But, the way they run this team, no chance.

Anyone with a troubled past? No. We drafted Worley last year when he'd been arrested for assault and battery.

But, there's a big difference between "troubled past" and knocking out a woman on video. Ray Rice was an elite NFL RB and got essentially blackballed from the league for doing that.

There are plenty of talented players who also have high character so that we can pass on this one without feeling like we missed anything. It isn't as if he is so skilled or unique that we have to take any chances he turns into the same kind of problem Hardy did. There are plenty of great options throughout the draft.

I don't think he should be off our board. Look what he did was wrong but the dude is only 20, our brains aren't fully developed, especially our prefrontal cortex which governs a lot of our decision making, until we're 25. I don't think that serves as an excuse for what he did by any means but I don't think he shouldn't be given a chance because of that incident. If he shows good character in his combine, pro day, interviews and what else I think we should at least keep him on our boards but that won't happen.

He was a young kid he made a mistake and owned up to it..

He has already been punished and will be punished more by not getting drafted where his talent says he should be...

Just being honest... why not take advantage of this situation..

And lets be honest..

If Ray Rice wasn't already in decline before the incident he would be on a team now.

Let Elliot do the same thing and see what happens..

    • This poo is schizo AF and I love it! It's like if Pepé Sylvia was a bookie!
    • Refs 100% rig the game. Whether it’s bias or incompetence or some combination of both. The outcome is the same. Teams, players, coaches, all get cheated and potentially lose their jobs because of the refs idiot bullshit. The NFL is complicit in this because the refs have no consequences and nothing is fixed mid game. Therefore in that sense the games are rigged. You are not seeing the better team win.   Secondly the refs are indignant and don’t like being told then they are wrong and change the way they officiate off that. I don’t give a fug if someone is yelling in your face. You should have the integrity to call the game fair and justly. Enough is enough. They should be held accountable. They already stole a god damn Super Bowl from us and are about to derail the franchise with last weeks all you can eat cheapshot bullshit. Add insult to injury that it was against the poo infested gutter ball Saints winning off penalties. Priority #1 next season is destroying them in every way imaginable.
    • I’m not an nfl script theorist. But more of a “NFL controls momentum in key games and it works to their advantage 80% of the time theorist” and I think certain refs get certain games for certain reasons. I could be very wrong, but I think the NFL wants us and Tampa to drag out to Week 18 and I think they knew if we beat NO, it could be over this week. It’s more exciting to drag it out and let pivot back and forth.
