His timed speed wasnt great. But watch him play. He has burst and can pull away from defenders. He has game speed.

Just believe in the NFL everyone is faster including DBs. He is a solid back but will not be speedy at the next level. I have seen his highlights. He is impressive but just not a fan of his fit here but Panthers feel different.

Why? How many years do you honestly believe Stewart has left with us?

It doesn't matter how many years he has left. Since Williams left the Panthers haven't really had a dynamic tandem at running back. We've had Stewart getting the hard yards with Cam being the play maker, and then still getting the hard yards. We need a new tandem again so that the entire offense doesn't have to fall on Cam's back.

    • Many things about this can be true.  Is dowdle our best rb this year? Yes Are we winning the superbowl this year? No Are we signing another rb to another contract? No Is dowdles value at its highest? Yes Should we base bryces performance on the exploits of a back up rb? No No one is taking Hubbard and his contract. Remember we traded a 5th for a legit young qb in baker. Getting a 5th or 4th for a couple games of our back up rb ( who is performing better than the starter) is a coup.  You gotta know when to hold em and when to fold em. We ain't winning the championship this year. Time to pick up more assets for next year
    • Malpractice would be the Panthers going into next season with an inconsistent passing game and Chuba as the lead back we've seen what that offense looks like the past few seasons.  If Byrce is going to succeed we're going to need to be a able run the ball. Again my point if Rico balls out as in a top 5 rusher the remaining the season Panthers would be crazy not to try and sign him. He's a local product who grew up in Asheville not too far from Charlotte I'm sure his preference would be playing for the home team.
    • He signed to the PS 10 days ago so he's a little bit into the playbook. He probably would have looked better than Dalton this past Sunday just playing backyard football lol.
