This would be a bargain Vet signing familiar with our organization and system.  If we can't get our hands on a TE in this draft.  No brainer signing afterwards.

I'm not talking about last year. I'm talking about what they're doing in this draft, which is very impressive. We have all seen how quickly things can change in the NFL so don't count them out because of last year.

 

As for Njoku, why would they draft him in the 1st round and not start him? This is what teams do when they're rebuilding.

This class is too deep and talented not to pick up a future replacement.

I'm not sure how much of a bargain he would be for us after the success he had in Cleveland. He will never put up those kind of numbers here anyway unless something bad happens to Olsen.

I agree I think we do get a rookie TE in this draft. 

I like those TEs a lot and would be happy with any of them.  Really like Leggett.

Having said that, I'm all for signing him if we can't find somebody as good or better in the draft and he doesn't demand a ridiculous amount of money.

Especially After drafting McCaffrey , it would be complimentary piece that would give this offense another dimension

So? With the talent they're bringing in, they could easily be contenders within the next couple of years. The past does not equal the future.
