what ever happened to the chat that Jerm used to set up ?

he got rid of it a few years ago b/c he couldn't monitor people's behavior. Things got a little out of hand and chaotic in there. personally I miss it, but in the famous words of Mr. Foxy, it is what it is.

if cook drops to us, any chance we take him?

I mean stew is done after next year, and I don't see CMC being our featured back going forward. I think a Cook CMC duo in the backfield would be something I could definitely fap to.

If he slips to 40 , there's some insane value there. But I don't think it makes sense roster wise while we still have CAP and Fozzy, that'll make too many RBs someone would have to be t0ssed

Now that's something I'll rock with

Stewart is not going to be done here until he asks for too much money or we find someone better. As it stands now, Stew is still better than any option available to us in the draft except for Fournette. That may change next season but we would be much worse off by dropping Stewart unless there is a top flight running back picked up to replace him.

I mean, there's always a CHANCE.

But I don't see it.  Not only because of background and personal stuff, but Cook definitely doesn't replace Stew.  I could see Perine at the bottom of the 2nd or 3rd way more than Cook at the top of the 2nd.

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
