Panthers draft pick, CB Corn Elder, can play inside over the slot and he should be an immediate contributor on special teams coverage units. Elder is very aggressive in run support and he has the footwork to break on the ball. Tough, competitive player.

He is not starting ove Captain

This is a flat out steal.

I may have disliked Christian with the 8th, but this is a brilliant pick. Corn is a 3rd round prospect that fell all the way to round 5 somehow. With this guy, Munnerlyn, Bradberry, and Worley, along with Kurt Coleman, Mike Adams, and Tre Boston, we have a decent secondary again.

Good because I wasn't trying to troll. You sure are reacting as if you have been trolled  though, lol.

Be happy. We are having a great draft and the Panthers have gotten a lot better. Don't get all bent out to shape just because you got your hopes up on one of these TE's. If you approach the draft this way you will probably be disappointed every year.

    • My take on Darnold was always that he was fine with a good offensive line but would wilt under pressure with a poor line (Jets and Panthers). Seattle began the year w/ a pretty bad oline and they improved somewhat but Darnold is showing he is a pretty good qb. Imagine what the Panthers would be today with Darnold and without Bryce Young and all the wasted draft picks to get him.
    • Similar situation but that would be a better version than what we currently have. Sam isn't a franchise QB but he is a good bridge guy. Either Seatle finds a young guy to groom or they have hit their ceiling. They 100% can't put it on Sam's shoulders and expect to win but the team needs to carry less with him at QB to win vs what this team has to do with Bryce.
    • to me the post would suggest Sam Darnold was good last night because Seattle won in a wild game.   Which is what we do with Bryce Young.   Sam Darnold didn't play well last night.  Which is how he trends, goes to a new team.....looks okay and becomes classic Sam Darnold down the stretch.  Last 6 or 7 weeks old bad Sam is coming out a lot (and then a weird Atlanta game mixed in lol).
