The Flash and Iris...

Season has definitely dragged and Salvitor has been a lame villain.    Wonder who he is?  It probably won't be a big surprise.  I'm going with Wally or HR from first season (maybe flashpoint redid his death).

Season 1 of the Flash was awesome - like actually really good

Season 2 was pretty good but it started to get more frustrating than felt like there was a true challenge at points

Season 3 I stopped watching around episode 4 or 5 because they took the artificial frustration to a whole new level

I still maintain that comic book adaptations are, by in large, defined by the villain. If you have a weak or uninteresting villain, it is realllly hard to overcome that deficit.

Season 1 not surprising at the best villain.

In comparison to how the other DC tv shows handle romance I think Barry and Iris are good,

They have dragged out the reveal way too long though and next season will not be a speedster so thats good.

lol and a reveal everyone knew was coming.

My wife hates all of these CWDC shows because of Iris and Felicity. Lol.

Ha.   I don't think it's fair to compare Iris to Felicity though.  Felicity is WAY more annoying.

I love looking at her but she's way too boring

Ha! I was thinking this watching the season finale.. No personality.

But oh well, who cares. We got Gypsy.

or Jessica Camacho

So, S3 kinda never really happened. Sounds about right.

Arrow to me had the best season finale of the DC CW shows...after two bad seasons they ended this new one pretty well.

It was really cool.   When Deathstroke is on the screen the show is like, 50 times better, Manu really owns that role.

The thing is, will they really accept results of what happened to that island or will everyone end up being OK?   They need to take risks and reset things.   Luckily, no more flashback scenes, which have been semi-annoying for the last 2 seasons.

I love The Flash, but man, I am tired of the time travel storylines. Really, really tired of them. My wife said she hopes that the season finale incident means that everything will be restored to the pre-Flashpoint story arc.

And yeah, having a speed force opponent as the story arc has gotten really old. Bring back the Rogues, there's still so much to do with all of them.

    • I see both sides of the arguments, but compared to last year we're somehow at an upgrade over completely fried Dalton and wasn't even good in college Plummer. At least Pickett and Grier probably have some desire to make more money when Dalton was happy to just go through the motions and I will never understand why they even bothered with Plummer.
    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
