Still worried about the safety depth.

Let's see,

Kurt Coleman back at his natural position FS...

Adams is aged, but he plays faster than his age would suggest. And back to back pro bowl seasons should solidify it. And IRC, he played more snaps than any player on the Colts defense last season.

Tre Boston and Southward were both safeties took in the '14 draft. The higher rated and drafted player is currently on the roster, thd other just signed with San Diego.

Imo, Dean Marlowe is the "gem" of the safety group (in this scheme). If he can stay healthy and actually see some playing time, I'm sure he'll ease alot of minds about our safety situation.

Brian Blechen, safety coming outta college, we converted him and Cash to LB. We have since converted Blechen back to Safety...I'm guessing Wilks sees the potential there.

LJ Mccray, if nothing else is a solid ST player as is Colin Jones.

I don't think it's a lack of talent, I think player health is the bigger concern. 3 of the above mentioned have had injury concerns in the past.

Maybe it's blind optimism, but I think we will be ok, if we can avoid the injury bug. Worse case, we'll pick up a couple after cuts begin.

I'm excited for Adams-Coleman pairing at safety but Marlowe, Blechen (or Cash if we move him back to safety) are pretty much untested at the starter level. God forbid there is an injury to Adams/Coleman and our secondary looks a lot more shaky over the top.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27
    • Your intelligence is artificial.
    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
