This is what worries me the most.  It's about to be true evaluation time for all of the guys we brought in through FA, draft, and additional UDFAs (which we all know he had an eye for).  Negotiations are ramping up, big decisions based on the last few months of moves will need to be made yet without the two most critical guys to that steered the process (DG and Beane)

Jeff Morrow, Matt Allen and Marc Koncz better have their sh*t together.

Without outside help it's going to be a disaster. Honestly the timing sucks for that too. If Bene didn't leave I would be less worried but there is no one...

Yeah, this is just downright weird.  

I'm not going to pretend like I know the staff's backgrounds but this Marc Koncz is the thread.  He oversaw pro and college scouting this year.   If he gets promoted and it's a backfill situation, then that may be an ok sign.

Don't lose heart people. Some may view the new GM position as a potential  "death trap" . Trust me, there are plenty of candidates with a lot of talent and potential, licking their chops to take over. 

Just have to find the right guy.

I usually go with the flow, only because I have no say in what the Panthers do, but I'm dishearten today.

I see what you're saying and you may be right.  Still unclear why he was let go though. 

The right guy knows how to keep the boss happy as well as the people that work for him, simultaneously executing his vision.

Jerry Richardson is a loser when it comes to running a professional football team. He's very successful and rich. But he is also very old and out of touch when it comes to making the right decisions. Hope I'm wrong but he probably will die without winning a Superbowl because of his loyalty and stubbornness. And his timing is always f ucked up.
