He has one more year on his contract after this season ? Or is it 2 more with 5yr option ?

His third year, so we should (and will) use his fifth.

Thing is, TD wants an extension and to play longer and use up valuable snaps Shaq could use. That's the issue, and likely why we could be letting Shaq go if we don't ever figure out a way to use him full-time.

No way we let him walk. I would pay td very little for the next couple years if we extend him.  TD is a panther legend and still pretty good but shaq still has upside and I think he is already better. I think it depends more on the norwell and star contract situation. Kelvin better ball out this year or we should let him walk

Top 3....er maybe 5....well maybe 10 dumbest poo this franchise will do if that happens barring some great trade where we get something in return.

I love TD as a football player but sweet jesus how fuging dumb to spend #1 draft pick and find a good to great replacement only to sign his aging ass to en extension. Tis' the Hurney way though, I'd be more surprised if Hurney found the balls to let TD go,  no that it matters, luckily our meddling owner will not let it happen. We will have to just wait and see how that plays out and hope for the best.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
