Lee didn't punt yesterday - Palardy looked good again

If they get rid of both Gano and Lee, how much would the Panthers have to work with?  I would think Butker and Palardy would be league minimums or close to it.

Somehow I just don't see them doing that. Personally I prefer, Andy Lee, I mean his line of work explains itself. The real question to me is whether they are going to try and stash Palardy on the Practice Squad in case something happens.

We are in full win now mode. Lee is PROVEN and is truly a weapon. I wouldn't trust Palardy in the playoffs to make clutch punts to pin teams down in their own redzone. As for Gano, well, he can GTFO.

Respect that answer - but if it is me, I am going with the young buck - more upside and best years ahead of him.  Lefty punters are damn hard to prepare for and play against.

Lee is the best punter of this generation and one of the few punters capable of making a noticeable impact. I'd like to keep him for one more year.

i like this Palardy looked good last yr considering & I know in Tenn he kicked & punted & did kickoffs so  butI would understand Keeping Lee but to me which ever 2 we cut isn't going to stay in FA long

I totally agree. However I feel like Palardy will be really good too. I don't know if stashing him will work this year

I like Palardy, but there's no way in my mind we're not going with Lee. And if our offense is not exactly lighting it up to start the season (which it more like than not), field position is going to be crucial.

I say go with lee. He is proven and its not like he has been messing up. We can make the cuts needed in the offseason and im sure some guys will even retire. But for this season many people's jobs, legacy and perception is on the line.Make or break year in lot of regards. Richardson knows it too. I feel he think his time is low and he wants to also give marty a ring when we win super bowl for his loyalty during years.
