Better rookie season for Christian McCaffrey or Leonard Fournette?

saw this article on the Panthers ESPN page . I know we are a bunched of biased Panther fans but what do you think?

It's kinda hard to predict for me, but Fournette is already not looking so great with an early injury to the same foot that he had problems with this past college season , and I  saw no elusiveness whatsoever in the very limited pre season action in his game 1 against the Patriots. His power looked good, but I think constantly trying to truck NFL linebackers and Dlineman is going to wear him down pretty quick.

Fournette's going to get alot more carries probably but Christian may be getting more touches overall. I think its because CMC has a more diverse skill set and will impact our game from a multitude of positions (RB, Slot WR, WR, KR/PR) . I don't know if McCaffrey is going to have that impressive of an overall stat sheet if Stewart still gets most of the carries though. Its hard to predict exactly how much work he's going to see as a RB as long as Stewart is healthy.

More complete back is Fournette. Better season stat wise will probably be CMC since he will be on special teams and play WR too. Fournette also does not have a QB so he will see 8 men in the box way more than CMC will. Fournette will have more rushing yards and red zone TDs that is about it. CMC will have more total yards.

CMC.

For some of the reasons you hit on...especially Fournette and that foot and his style of play...plus the Jags have 0 threat at the quarterback position so they're pretty one dimensional in that aspect.

Plus, CMC is going to set the NFL on fire this season so buckle up fellas.

Just now, KaseKlosed said:

CMC will probably avg 65 yards rushing and 40 yards receiving. He will not win rookie of the year. He probably won't even make a single probowl in his career. He is not better than reggie bush and has lower ceiling than Bush talent wise.

And now we unleash the poop

He hasn't looked impressive to you at all?

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
