CB Kevon Seymour says because he was familiar with Sean McDermott's system in Buffalo, he already feels like he's picked things up here.

 

I asked Kelvin Benjamin if he was dedicating the season to his mom. "Every play, every snap I'm dedicating to her."

 

Kelvin Benjamin says after his mom's passing, "All I've got is football." Adds her memory is why he's playing so hard.

Hurney doing a press conference 5 pm today

 

Only Panthers players who did not practice on Tuesday were LB Jared Norris and CB Cole Luke.

 

DTs Kyle Love and Vernon Butler both practiced today. Love said to be a little farther along in recovery from injury.

Losing a loved one is difficult and it sucks anyone has to go through that. I hope Kelvin has a hell of a year.

Cam Newton says he has been teasing Thomas Davis that Georgia missed out by not recruiting his younger brother Caylin.

 

Cam has huge smile on his face talking about his little brother Cailyn's performance. Gives a shout to @espn the app on how he saw the game.

 

Cam on Caylin: "He has that 'it' factor to let guys follow him. I have my hands full trying to follow up a great performance by him."

 

Cam Newton says he teased Thomas Davis for Georgia "missing out" on the opportunity to snag brother Caylin (they didn't offer the GA native)

Cam Newton said he thinks what is happening to Colin Kaepernick is unfair. Said he's better than some starting QBs in the league.

Cam: Christian McCaffrey and Greg Olsen put the same amount of effort and meticulousness in how they take care of their bodies.

 

Cam: it's abnormal to see someone as young as Christian McCaffrey taking that much care of his body

 

Cam Newton on where he’s at now after shoulder surgery: “I have no concern … I’m just trying to be proactive with every second I have.”

I am not ashamed to say that I know that, too. 

I think he kept it grown out all last season though?
