Cam had like 2-3 sacks where he could have done better. He missed like 2-3 easy throws, one being the CMC touchdown.

 

Calm the fug down with "it's all Cam's fault we scored 9 points. Shula per usual gets puckered ass syndrome in the red zone and has no idea what the fug he is doing. Same story we've seen before.

I would put at most 20% on Cam himself.

Truth of the matter is, playcalling has been a consistent issue the last 5 years. And we've done nothing to correct it. Ron is going to go down with Shula, and frankly I'm just about ready to get it over with.

This has been the Panthers DNA, the strategy in which we have chosen and not sure why everybody is freaking out.  I do have a problem with 1st and goal at the 1 with Cam and you can't score a TD? No misdirections, creativity, etc...NE always, I mean always keep you on your toes.   But that's the Panthers strategy, old school #keep pounding.

Let's just count ourselves lucky that we came away with a win on that one.

Our defense is playing lights out and should be the #1 in the league after this week.

Our offense is a work in progress. Our O-line can't play like that again. The loss of Ryan Kalil was really felt, especially in calling out protections and working with the guards. The Bills front 7 is good, really good, but we didn't play up to our potential there. Receivers were excellent, KB looked like he should and Funchess was excellent. Cam getting hit early and often affected him and there were a couple of just terribly bad passes by him that can only be explained by rust and a shoulder still healing.

Next week should be a better test of our defense and a chance for our offense to open up and get into a good rhythm for the rest of the year.

I don't know what game you watched but it wasn't on Cam for why the offense was so bad. He made many great throws and saved plays when our terrible o-line collapsed. Yeah he missed some throws and even a game winner but Cam was good today. Not great but good. Shula and the O-line was BY FAR the bigger problem.

Calm down, we won. Cam played well, yes he missed a few throws but we also dropped 3 passes.

Cam is not a precision passer, we should all be used to games like this.

The Panthers need a running game, period.  That's who we are and it's just not there right now.  Shula hasn't completely worked out what he wants to do with McC..

I agree the poo posting but how can you say Gettleman barely improved the line? Adding pro bowl guardTurner and top ten guard Norwell isn't "barely improving". 

Yes the left tackle position fell off a cliff when Oher got hurt, but what other options was there at LT? Seriously. Could we have traded multiple 1sts for a starting LT? I don't think they are just standing around looking for work.

The "Gettleman didn't improve the o-line" poo posting is getting up there with "It's all cam's fault" poo posting.

Guess what. 3rd and goal to CMC miss? Oh wait why the fug is it 3rd and goal after two first downs in the red zone. A good OC doesn't need 4+ downs to get a fing TD at the steps of the red zone. You look at missed opportunities for Cam. Well guess what we had ample chances to get that TD and all but a couple we're on Cam messing up. Every single other one is Shula.

A 2 year old could see this coming.  Cam could hit 90% of his passes and get blamed for half of them being overthrows if the receivers didn't bail him out.  Even when the receivers drop a perfect pass, Cam should've taken some pace off the ball.  He could hit every check down..

I can't wait for Cam to finally put the cleats up and the next QB comes along....pour fella.  The Panthers WON the game, no matter what happened.  Cam didn't try to squeeze one in and get picked off when the D was playing well.  Now imagine that and the Panthers lose...whew.
