Practice gates close and no Ryan Kalil.

 

 

yesterday could have been a "play it safe day"   

But now I'm worried.

Right now, I have to admit I'm wondering if we're gonna see him in a Panther uniform again.

But not much beyond that

Im starting to get the feeling that there wont be a Kalil on the roster next season.  

They'll cut Matt because he isn't looking up to his worth on the rest of his contract, Ryan will retire as well

Gonna be just splendid to have a $20M dead money cap hit for Matt next year if he gets cut. Thanks Gettleman. Hurney is the undisputed champ for volume but as far as the single worst contract in team history, this ranks up there with Sean Gilbert.

I doubt it, Kalil is going to be one of the better LT for Panthers since Gross.

You mean 11.5 cap hit?  After 2018 is just a option.  25 was guaranteed (this year's salary of 13.15 mil)  leaving only his 11.85 left we owe him.  

It was actually a good deal.  You didn't go see what others paid OTs this year clearly.  Chargers paid Okung who was one of the league's worst OTs last year up there with Remmers 4 years 53 mil 26 guaranteed.  

Our Kalil 5 years 55 mil 25 guaranteed doesn't look so bad
