I feel a lot better...

It feels like Cam's downfield throws have more touch and accuracy than the first 2 games and last year. It reminds me of the Super Bowl run, purely as a downfield passer.

Against the Patriots we had no Olsen, Byrd, or Funchess at one point and it still felt like we had plenty of weapons on the field. Thats a good sign. If we lost another WR, McCaffrey could run routes for an entire game and be productive. Thats incredible.

i agreed with all of the OP, but i'm willing to call us contenders. we're definitely a force to be reckoned with in the conference. at 4-1, i don't see how you couldn't.

i might just be flying high from the win today, but i'm massively impressed with what i've seen the past two weeks.

Partially because I don't think the Lions are actually that good and the Patriots aren't themselves this year either.

Talk to me after the Eagles game. I might be ready to reconsider then.

I'm pretty sure the Patriots would smack the Eagles, and Detroit would give them a game.

We went in as 'dogs, Cam looked pretty awesome, Shula called some good plays (b3for3 going Stew-up-the-middle mode, and we won.

Just believe!

Cam be healthy does play a part but I think Olsen going down played a part as well.  Cam had a case of tunnel vision.  He was trying to force the ball to Olsen etc.  Now hes forced to utilize every weapon he has and defenses are thrown for a loop.

This is probably nitpicking but he is still holding out a second too long when he should be taking off and running. It's led to a few sacks where if he would have went through his reads, saw nothing, and bolted it would have been a good gain as opposed to a negative play.
