it's funny, every time we play the Eagles in prime time, I always ask why?

what's even more baffling is we're playing the Dolphins on Monday night .... really, the Dolphins? The schedulers couldn't find a more intriguing match up?

Tannehill against Newton in what was seen as the year the Dolphins finally got over the hump was the motivation. It turns out that you have Cutler and an anemic Dolhpins offense.

Personally, I'd rather see Matt Moore at this point if I am a Dolphins fan because everyone knows what Cutler can do.

Remember the dark days when we were hoping for Matt Moore?

I thought he played okay. Davidson was the issue there as was John Fox. The Bears should've look to Foxie's record without a top defense and a shaky quarterback to see that he isn't going to lead a team with a rookie QB anywhere.

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
