This place is cringy and depressing after a loss

but its a hell of a lot of fun when we win. Hopefully were sitting at 5-2 next week with high spirits.

Were a 2nd half of season team anyway. 4-2 is a good start

Hell, its depressing after a win. just more do after a loss.

yep. and we've set ourselves up well for a great 2nd half run. 11-5 should get us to the playoffs this year and is certainly still attainable, especially once we get healthy.

depending on how well we play and how much getting healthy helps us, 12-4 or dare i say 13-3 is not out of reach. I highly doubt we win out, but looking at who is on our schedule, its not out of the question to only lose one more. more likely we have 4-6 losses, but that will still be good enough for playoffs.

Here's the thing about losing...

Most fans can manage to handle a loss as long as their team showed effort and organization.  When the other team wins because they are better and/or more talented, losses can hurt but you can move on from them rather easily.

When you know your own team is more talented and when you see them, game after game, display confusion, very little organization, and often showing lack of effort, then fans can (and usually will) be pissed, win or lose.

I don't know why this is so hard for some people to understand.

The top teams in the league have wtf losses all the time. I'm not happy with this coaching staff and if we don't make the playoffs I want them gone, but people act like we are a horrible team after losses. One minute a player is the best thing since sliced bread, the next they need to be cut. Our coaches are not perfect but they do some things really well.

The older I get, the more I spend my time away from this website because the manic depressive episodes are retarded to read. I'd rather read more level headed opinions and give my two cents.

the eagles are a damn good football team, we are better. Didn't play that way on a short week and we laid an egg. Going through the intracacies of why is much more fun then reading post after post of retarded nonsense. Not saying everyone is like that but a vast majority are that way.

Some times teams lose. that's part of the game. I'm talking about some people like to bitch if we win or lose. and no most fans can't handle a loss hell a lot on here can't handle a win. that's my point. I will not get into why we lost. there are over hundred post about that already. its time to move on.

    • Wanting that type of play and being okay with paying $55 million a season for it are two entirely different things. If Bryce were to become the same player Purdy has been, then he would surpass my expectations of him and I'd be okay with him as our QB of the future (and again, I've long been one of the bigger anti Bryce people here who doesn't think he is capable of being our long term solution). But in no world would I be okay with paying him THAT kind of money, paying an average starter elite money is just a terrible decision.
    • I don't think they can overcome that mistake. Hell Lance was a hiccup compared to this. He isn't going to be able to carry that price tag and now he is going to have to do just that. Lol. The NFL is so dumb sometimes.
    • So, one could say that T-Mac is quicker than someone of his size should be and while he might not be quite as fast as Evans in the 40, he's more athletic than Evans. If only someone, anyone, could have seen that in his tape and mentioned that on here, hmmmmmmm In all seriousness, hearing he tested in the 89th percentile in that drill at his size is crazy impressive.  Just tried to look up the times of the top WRs in the league right now, most don't show at time for that, but I did see Chase ran his in 7 seconds flat. I honestly don't know how true this is, but I do remember seeing one breakdown of his tape and the person said he has quiet and efficient feet.  That he's really good at using the minimal steps possible to make his cuts and because of that, it actually makes him look slower to the human eye because you don't see all the quick chop steps that the guys like Tyreek would use in their running. I'm still in a state of disbelief that he's a Panther and it might not fully hit me until week 1 and I see him out there making plays for us, still feels like Goodell is going to just be like, "YOU GOT PUNKED!!!  hahaha, he's a Cowboy now, suck it"
