At what point do you root for your team to lose?

Never root for them to lose. I also doubt if we do have a losing record anything would happen to the coaching staff anyway.

After we lose I always end up hoping we lose a ton and everyone gets fired, but I can't root against us when we're playing. 

it's tough though cuz Brazil national team was in a similar situation. Being very average and weren't even gonna qualify for world cup, then we got eliminated really early from copa America, fired the coach, and ever since we've been undefeated in competitive matches and are the favorite to win the world up next year.

I never root for a lose. Even if it was the last game of the season and we had zero shot to get into the playoff I still want a win. People may talk about it being a waste and a "lose of draft position" but I don't care. I don't watch the team to see them lose and aim for draft position. I watch because I love the team and want to see them succeed every time they put a foot down on that field.
