I don't think it was a stunt - he ran out to check on Adams and during that injury timeout the guys reviewing plays in the booth saw that he had  good reason to challenge the call so he threw the flag.  If there was a stunt it was in letting his qb talk him into something he should have done to begin with.  I do agree RR is not a great head coach and I would like to see Hurney and him both replaced before next season..  Probably neither will happen.
