Primetime was just talking about Carolina and said that he loves that we’re getting Olsen back. When asked if he thought the Panthers were going to the playoffs, Prime did his best Jim Mora impression and answered “playoffs??? This team may win the whole thing.”

thanks for the vote of confidence Prime ;)

yeah I know this means nothing in reality. But it’s nice that someone so high-profile believes in this team. We were brought up as an NFC dark horse and he acted like we were much more than a dark horse.

Heath Evans is such a hater talking about we're not going to win the division... can't wait until the Panthers go into the Superdome and put his beloved Saints back in their place.

He's not a hater persay. More like he's a Homer for the teams he played for. Plus he's full of nonsense

Deion is a little bitch boy.

Couldn't handle some good natured ribbing by Romo in the booth and then pulled out the "I won championships" in a real dick way.

Yeah you did, as a mercenary with no allegiance to anyone but yourself which is why you chased a ring with the highest bidder whenever your contract was up. Say what you will about Romo, but the dude stuck with the Cowgirls even when they were trash and was probably the only reason they weren't a perennial basement dweller his entire tenure as the starter.

Heath is the biggest homer I’ve ever seen them allow. None of the other guys are even close. Deion and Irvin joke about it from time to time, but Heath legitimately tries to rationalize picking Saints, Patriots and Seahawks every single time and always talks up those three whenever possible.

Fun fact: Heath has picked the Saints to go to the playoffs the last 3 years. I guess the sun shines on a dog's arse every now and then.

Panthers are just warming up... the defense held up... we should be 8 - 1 by now. Tell me what team is as complete as we are currently.

THank you.

didn't he trash cam for finishing his degree an offseason or two ago too

i know people in sports media will often take on a certain exaggerated persona to provoke reactions/get attention but i don't think he's faking it

He’s not. I think he genuinely hates the Panthers. Has he ever been on the same panel as SS89?

    • “Y’all been watching film, huh? That’s cool, watch this.”
    • Really? Wow. Sorry. Got my timeline messed up. I remember someone claiming to be Graham’s mom on the old Charlotte.com board so I guess it was a long time ago that he was here. I guess I thought he was after Kasay.
    • Nick Scott has gotten his share of Huddle hate, but I came across this SI article by Zach Roberts when I was researching recently released Quandre Diggs, speculated to be a better option  (https://lastwordonsports.com/nfl/2025/11/07/breaking-titans-cut-former-three-time-pro-bowler-quandre-diggs-4-destinations-ranked/3/), but getting back to Nick Scott... Now to be fair, the observation on Scott was before the Packers game, but the stats couldn't have changed that much, and may have gotten better.   "At some point during virtually every Carolina Panthers game, you have probably found yourself grumbling about Nick Scott. The much-maligned safety has seemingly been out of position a lot or has failed to make a play. The eye test has often let him down. "But that's why stats are so helpful. Sometimes, the eye test, especially for fans, is unreliable. On occasion, advanced metrics help make sense of things and lend more clarity. In the case of Scott, they make him look like a much better safety than any of us would've guessed. "In coverage, Scott has given up just 15 yards and an average of five yards per catch. That's the lowest among safeties, leading superstars like Julian Love, Talanoa Hafunga, Quandre Diggs, Kerby Joseph, Kyle Hamilton, and Minkah Fitzpatrick. "In FI%, the safety leads all his counterparts once again at 40%. Brian Branch, Camren Kinchens, and Xavier McKinney are some notable names he leads. He's been pretty excellent in pass coverage, which is crucial for the Panthers." For those wondering, "FI" means forced incompletions. Now I'm way past trying to figure out why X links aren't embedding for me like they used to, but here you go: https://x.com/dacornerman/status/1981363757608513632?t=rx_5iLjp8_y5huNcg_y1nA&s=19   Suffice it to say that Scott may not be as bad as some have led on.    https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/onsi/news/much-maligned-panthers-db-way-better-than-think
