Putting Corn on IR was a mistake.

Not going to lie. You sure seem to be going out of your way to throw Shula, and now Hurndog under the bus. Nothing overt. Just a bunch of these little dig type things.

Maybe, just maybe. Hurndog, and by extension Rivera were quite happy with the DBs at the time. I mean, is it really a bad thing that the powers that be have confidence in the players they have?

Our Defense has been playing very well. Shouldn't that be good enough for us fans? Do we really need to have the best D in the league, just to be happy?

Unrealistic expectations can lead to heart burn.

Then again. Fans wanting perfection is not a new thing.

Your right.  He’s throwing guys who suck at their multimillion dollar jobs under the bus.

Fug Hurney, Fug Shula.  I hope the both get canned tomorrow.

Jesus. There are either a lot of new Panthers fans or a lot of Panthers fans with selective amnesia who have forgotten the depths to which Hurney drove this franchise his last go round.

This dumb decision is unfortunately likely just a bellwether of things to come.

Every week there are 7 guys that don't play. Why are folks not complaining about those other 6?

Because 1 of them was a Kicker?

This negativity campaign is way too obvious.

I know you can catch more flies with honey. But do you get more clicks with negativity? Or optimism? It seems to me at least, at this point in time, negativity is winning the day.

I guess it's easier to get those all important hot takes with negativity. Probably because they take very little thought.

And we are 7-3. At what point will success negate the negativity?

Not speaking of this thread necessarily, but you say this same stuff over and over. What exactly do you think the point of these and similar team boards are for? They are for discussion and debate which can not exist without differing or dissenting opinions.

This is not an echo chamber for your feel-good positivity circle jerk, and you clamoring for people to "just be happy" over and over again is just as obnoxious as any ridiculous negative thread. You know what boards suck? Those that squash negative opinions and ban people for having them or for being fans of another team. You know why this place is so successful? Because it harbors an atmosphere that allows for nitpicky debate, no matter how frivolous, because thats what drives discussion. If I wanted nothing but a positive outlook I would just read the team website.

Yep.....too funny. I guess this answers the above questuon.  It even pisses them off when fans are happy with a winning season. They clearly  want to be losers. They want nothing positive.

You cannot push for freedom of speech. Then try and censure me. That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works.

I am not perfect. Sometimes I do quote folks that are being negative. But I usually try to only respond to folks I agree with. If my opinions irk you in some way. Maybe don't read them.

I'm pretty positive on this year's team. I'm not so positive looking toward the future and another Hurney Era. We've seen this movie before.

Hey, if Lucas can change a Star Wars. Why can't the Panthers change? Nothing is written in stone. We are supposed to learn from the past. Not fear it.

I'm not censoring you. That's my point. Just stating that you constantly badgering for nothing but positivity is actually counterproductive to the point of a message board and annoying. But you do you. As you said if dissenting opinion bothers you so much then take you own advice.

Ah yes, Corn Elder.

There hasn't been worse personnel management since we lost Tyler Gaffney to the Patriots. Gaffney, as you all know,  will soon be named to his 4th consecutive Pro Bowl.

I wanted to pie this, cuz I thought it was funny. So, I need to know if you are serious about this?

Nobody is squashing negative opinions.  Some are trying to debate them with facts. The culture here is overwhelmingly negative and when it coincides with a good season it needs to be debated against.  Especially with a situation like this when it's not even attempting to be based on the reality of the situation.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
