Yeah take your frustrations on the loss out by calling a perfectly reasonable statement from a fellow fan stupid. Mature.

Not really. Just calling out a dumb statement. "Kamara will be there for 10 years too." It's one thing if you say he could be there a long time, but to make a definitive statement that he'll be there for 10 years is stupid about any player, let alone a tiny RB, the position with the shortest lifespan in the league.

I think our defense is good enough to deal with a offense that focuses primarily on the run or the pass, but a balanced offense kills us.

That kind of offense with an elite QB is hard for any D to deal with.....Usually makes for a Super Bowl run. Saints are just freaking good.....Have to admit it as much as I hate to.

So wait......did I hear the announcers correctly.....did they say that Ron said this game wouldn't decide the division. HELLO RONNY BOY, we win and we are in the lead and decide our own destiny...... WE LOSE LIKE WE DID AND WE HAVE TO RELY ON OTHERS. This game was HUGE in deciding the division's outcome. We now have to hope the Saints poo the bed in the coming weeks as well as us winning out pretty much. PLUS, this game was huge in the wildcard running as well with how tight the race is in the NFC currently. I understand seeing it as just another game afterwards since you have to move on and focus on the next team but damn the way we played today was just like Ron making it out to be......just another basic game.

sounds to me like he already knew he was gonna have his ass handed to him. now he wants other teams to have to do his dirty work for him, just like a few players have bailed his sorry ass out over the years

Use your intelligence. I was saying that he is a rookie and has his best years ahead. Quibbling over exact amounts is incredibly pedantic. Funny too that you call me out for being imprecise in my statements when you say that Payton and Brees will definitely be gone very soon which is far from a given. Hypocrite much? He will be there for some time and perhaps, just perhaps longer than you would like. The point is we need to come up with a game plan and play him better.

Brees will very likely be gone or far less effective within 2 years.  He will be 40 years old.  Virtually every QB not named Favre or Brady drops off rapidly after 38/39 years old.

    • That makes me wonder, how many starting tackles in the NFL and/or elite tackles have short arms? I feel like there’s probably lots of tackles that end up being drafted in later rounds because they had short arms or didn’t have the physical tools.     also why not draft a tackle in the later rounds that we could move to guard or center if they fail, instead of drafting a center? If we draft a center we know they aren’t going to play tackle but if you draft a tackle they could end up playing any of the 3 positions, look at BC for example. It feels like it’s a better decision to draft a tackle in later rounds than a center.
    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
