We drafted a rb in round one but only give him 6 carries a game Stewart continues to get most of the carries at 3.2 ypc. Why not give cmc 15 to 20 carries to see what he cN do? Can’t be any worse and give him a fullback like armah since he’s s smaller back

Godda get CMC the ball in the right situation....ala patriot style...but yea....lets see what shulong will come up with...

McC and Funch and TEs all way better than other WRs, but how can you say that Bersin or Clay is better than Byrd? They're all pretty much the same except Byrd has been trending up, while the other two have not.

Bersin is better than Byrd at this point because he has proven hands.

I don't understand this misconception around here about Bersin having good hands. He really doesn't have great hands at all. He dropped passes in 2014 (as well as punts) and has never gotten nearly a large enough amount of catchable targets to prove anything about his hands. Bersin shouldn't be on an NFL team.

Ok stat fairy thank you so much. I went and looked it up and technically your correct it was credited to cam, however, from the view I had cam handed it off and cap basically ran thru the hand off and knocked the ball out of cams hand instead of taking it from him, it was on cap in that instance, thanks stat fairy for swinging thru for the stat sprinkle

In the read option, the quarterback is ALWAYS responsible for the ball.  I'm the biggest Cam fan in the world, but I *do* know that if a fumble occurs on a read-option exchange, its the QBs fault.

Sorry to burst your bubble, baw.

P.S. The NFL also recognizes who is responsible for a fumble on an option-exchange as well.  Seems like everybody does... *except* for the "CAP is a fumbler!" myth-makers.

He's out performed Byrd. I will agree that he shouldn't be on the team. We should have better WRs.

He'll give em each 2 carries. They'll have 10 plus yards each on those carries. Then Rivera sits them the rest of the game in favor of Stewart's 1.8 ypc.

Fast forward to the press conference after the game.  Ron Rivera "Players didn't execute the game plan."

Well stew is off this year. But even fournette only averages 3.2 ypc if u exclude his two big plays

well if you exclude Stews long run of 21 yards where does that leave him.  Stats can go any way you want them too.  Take away Cams 60+ yard runs this season does he lead the team in rushing those games?  Take away big plays from the 2015 panthers offense and we were probably bottom half of the league.  Those yards count and why you are trying to act like they don't is absurd.

Well in fairness...Byrd’s entire NFL career consists of 2 catches.

We are at the point in a season where knowing a playbooks carries a ton of weight.  But reality is NFL practices squads are full of players better than both guys.   We need to quit bringing these guys into camp . That is why they end up here late in a season.  They simply know the plays.

Granted I didn't have commentary to really tell me what happened at the time I just had my eyes which were pretty close and it looked like caps fault from where I was. Not trying to hate on the kid, Stewart needs To be replaced so I hope he does well. Thanks again stat fairy for another sprinkle. It's clear that you're the smartest fairy in the group. I guess if I wasn't traveling all the way to New York to support the squad instead of staying home and watching it from moms basement I would have known that. Once again thank you for that extra sprinkle. Hopefully cap plays well and cam dosent screw it up again as you said he did.

Kalil allows more flexiblity with the OL, his ability to take on NT 1 on 1 situation allows us to pull one of the guards and take out the LB or S in the running game.

translation to others who don't know what he's saying, the Run game will improve drastically.
