If Wentz is out, which NFC team is clearly better than us besides the Saints?

Playing like yesterday, no one is clearly better than the Panthers.

Charlotte has one of the most Judas fan bases, all Benedict Arnolds

Teams generally don’t lose to the same team 3 times in a row, and both of the Saints games were truly lost by the panthers playing stupid, not the Saints being good. Im not worried about the Saints. We are better than the Saints, don’t see us having 2 fumbles, sideline body slam, and all the other stupid garbage happening again.

the Rams are good, but it’s been shown they are vulnerable because their quarterback can be confused and coughs up the ball. They are beatable.

Atlanta we beat and can beat again.

So why should we be scared of anyone?

Lol that doesn't mean playing them at the dome is advantageous for us. Are you serious?

Also that 10 point score isn't really indicative of how badly we did in that game. Saints had the upper hand pretty much the entire time besides us stopping them a few drives early, but then we also stalled on offense so... If Kamara is playing Saints are a terrible matchup for us anywhere.

Even in this game I was seeing whiff tackles by our safteys yet again, and we got lucky with some Thielen drops, Rudolph drop, and that crucial Diggs drop into interception . If we play them again the gameplan has to be eliminating the run game and Kamara in particular. Because if the Saints are running all over you , brees is going to shred you over the top with Thomas and youre probably not going to win against them.

I thought the Super Bowl would be Steelers vs Panthers to start the season.  Big Ben throwing for 500+ yrds last night against the Ravens was ridiculous.  The NFC is overall better but the Steelers are amazingly tough.  With that said, I think the Rams > Saints.  The Saints are familiar with us so that gives them an edge but if we play really well we can beat them.  I think the Rams can win it all, they are a pretty complete team.

Kamara is an alien dude. If hes healthy and facing us in the playoffs you should be scared. Yea we played badly that game but Kamara was still forcing a million missed tackles and Ingram was shredding up the middle. They ran roughshod over us in the tune of 148 rushing yards and every RB averaged at least 6 yards a carry or more against us. Thats pitiful.

I would have agreed with the Rams a few weeks ago but injuries to their Oline and secondary are starting to bite them in the ass. Not sure they have the depth to handle all the players going down.

Yeah, seems like everyone is going through that right now.  They should get Robert Woods back next week but I hear ya.  Not sure we have mentioned it but the Vikings OL is decimated right now.  If they lose Reiff for any extended time they are in real trouble.

So what did you imply? I can read. Perhaps you can't convey your message well.

I meant the 2 differences between both games scores. It has nothing to do with the dome it has to deal with the ability to not be blown out like first game showed and score more points. If we can put points up like we did in second game there is a chance we could win against Saints if we met up with them again(hopefully)

    • Wanting that type of play and being okay with paying $55 million a season for it are two entirely different things. If Bryce were to become the same player Purdy has been, then he would surpass my expectations of him and I'd be okay with him as our QB of the future (and again, I've long been one of the bigger anti Bryce people here who doesn't think he is capable of being our long term solution). But in no world would I be okay with paying him THAT kind of money, paying an average starter elite money is just a terrible decision.
    • I don't think they can overcome that mistake. Hell Lance was a hiccup compared to this. He isn't going to be able to carry that price tag and now he is going to have to do just that. Lol. The NFL is so dumb sometimes.
    • So, one could say that T-Mac is quicker than someone of his size should be and while he might not be quite as fast as Evans in the 40, he's more athletic than Evans. If only someone, anyone, could have seen that in his tape and mentioned that on here, hmmmmmmm In all seriousness, hearing he tested in the 89th percentile in that drill at his size is crazy impressive.  Just tried to look up the times of the top WRs in the league right now, most don't show at time for that, but I did see Chase ran his in 7 seconds flat. I honestly don't know how true this is, but I do remember seeing one breakdown of his tape and the person said he has quiet and efficient feet.  That he's really good at using the minimal steps possible to make his cuts and because of that, it actually makes him look slower to the human eye because you don't see all the quick chop steps that the guys like Tyreek would use in their running. I'm still in a state of disbelief that he's a Panther and it might not fully hit me until week 1 and I see him out there making plays for us, still feels like Goodell is going to just be like, "YOU GOT PUNKED!!!  hahaha, he's a Cowboy now, suck it"
